Hunter Moon

Last night as the sun went down the moon came up.  The Hunter Moon.

We waited and waited…Chance kept sighing.  It seemed to take forever.

Moon peeking out

Almost fUll

Hunter Moon

Finally it was full in the sky.

We made Flat Bread and Andy’s Chili yesterday, cross something off our list.  Chili will go into individual servings to be frozen for nights when we don’t want to cook (That would be most nights lately.)

I napped most of the afternoon, I am still feeling partly rotten…my body is still at war with itself.

  6. Beautiful moon shots! We didn't get to see it here, we are still under the huge system of cloud and rain coming in off the typhoon out in the Pacific.

  7. I do believe those are the best pictures of the moon I've ever seen! Sure hope you're feeling better. It's awful that the those shots made you feel so terrible. Hope Chance likes his new bed and it helps his hip pain.

  12. What a pleasure to see your moon shots. I have to wait a long time for the moon to get high enough to see it over a house and trees atop a backyard hill. Your pix were better than what I was able to see anyway. Thanks for sharing them.

  15. Beautiful shots of the moon!! I feel bad for what you are going through thanks to the flu shot. I never get them. I guess this is a good reason why!

  16. Yes you did get great shot of the moon. I was disappointed that we had ( and continue to have) cloudy skies so no way we could see it.
It seems to be taking a while for you to get over those after effects of the shots. Hope it's very soon.

  19. Those are beautiful shots. I am sure Chance wished you had a faster moon a rising. Our moon is being covered with spooky dark clouds blowing north making it look like Halloween each night.

  20. Are you still feeling bad since you got your flu shot or do you have the flu? Tick fever? Flu shots do not contain real flu virus. Coincidence? I hope you feel better soon! Why is your moon so big and the one is Iowa was always big but the Arkansas moon is small. (Don't worry,,,,I do know it's the same moon) I,m thinking because of all the trees I never see it on the horizon just like I never see the sun set.....it's awful! I'm a prairie girl, I guess!
