It turned out real nice. I like all the personal
ornaments that are on this tree.
It snowed, about 2 + inches of beautiful white stuff.
Looks like we will have a white Christmas after all.
Open water on Straight Lake on December 16,
2015. This may be a no ice record.
We delivered a few ornaments to neighbors. All
the ornaments have been mailed or delivered except for one and the weather was
not good enough to travel up to Elbow Lake.
Far Guy has a real sore throat and is beginning
to get a cough. He got started on antibiotics, we hope he is all better by
Christmas.
Hope Far guy gets better before Christmas ! Oh look you have snow how lovely , we don't just rain BLAH !! and the temps have been warm to 10C eh? or 50F now white Christmas for us the ground is to warm still as is the air BOOHOO ! just not the same as a green Christmas . Thanks for sharing lovely tree and photos ! Have a good day !
ReplyDeleteFirst off get better soon Far Guy. Oh I love your little tree of personal ornaments it is pretty. Wow you have snow I forget what it looks and feels like, it is pouring rain here. HUGS B
ReplyDeleteMorning, sure hope that Far Guy feels better. Love the tree, so pretty. Yup, white Christmas here too, just got dumped on real good!!!!!! Blessings Francine.
ReplyDeleteHope Far Guy feels better real soon. You downstairs tree is really lovely. We don't have any snow yet and I am very happy about that.
ReplyDeleteGosh, I hope FG is not getting sick during the holidays. I'm glad he's already on antibiotics. Sending you both big virtual hugs. And glad you've got some snow at least! :-)
ReplyDeleteYup! We got snow here, too. I am so happy. Hope it stays till Christmas!
ReplyDeletePoor FarGuy, though. I really hope he shakes this off quickly.
Your tree looks so festive. Best wishes to you both!! :)
I hope Far Guy feels better soon. Glad to hear he's on those antibiotics. We have cold weather in the forecast (20s and 30s) for the next few days but are being told that our Christmas will be the warmest any of us can remember. That means it will probably be in the 60's. No snow likely for a while.
ReplyDeleteGet well! Your first tree is beautiful :-).
ReplyDeleteYour tree looks really good. I like the plaid skirted angel. It all looks good with ornaments of many memories. We are cold enough that there should be snow on the ground. Hot tea for the throat even if you can stand the taste. It helps to burn it out and slow down the drainage that helps to cause it. Get better Far Guy.
ReplyDeletePlease tell Far Guy to take good care of himself and do whatever the doctor says. And I know you, Far Side, will take good care of him and also yourself so you don't get the sore throat and cough.
ReplyDeleteOur Twin Cities' weather man says we may have a "beige" Christmas because so far no snow on the ground. But we all know MN weather can change fast so it may yet be a white Christmas.
Your trees are always lovely.
Shirley H.
Lucky you with snow and a great tree! (We have neither at the moment... )
ReplyDeleteOh no! poor Far Guy.
ReplyDeleteWish I had the stamina you and L.D. have to put up so many lovely Christmas trees.
I hope he does too. GET WELL SOON, FARGUY we are all pulling for you.
ReplyDeleteLinda
Decorated tree, snow falling, and cards addressed - the perfect combination, but I hope you've been playing Christmas carols, too.
ReplyDeleteJealous of you snow, we just have a little old stuff and need a nice big dump!
ReplyDeleteHope Far Guy feels better, That Zycam stuff really worked well for me recently.
Oh dear, look after Far Guy! Hope he is over it quickly. Our tree has been up for a couple of days, and we actually have snow coming down at the moment! It will turn to rain at any time, but there is a chance of a bit more next week.
ReplyDeleteYour tree is so pretty and the snow really makes it look like Christmas there. We are supposed to have thunderstorms today. Sure hope Far Guy gets over this quick.
ReplyDeleteWishing good health for hubby.
ReplyDeleteYou tree is beautiful. I admire your unwavering Christmas spirit.
Hope the Far Guy gets over it fast....I think one of the worst things to have to suffer with is a sore throat :( I like your outdoor trees decorated in snow....ours are too.
ReplyDeleteSo your snow stick is going to be used afterall!
ReplyDeleteIt looks so pretty with the snow. We had some Christmas shopping to do today ... in the rain. I do like the fact that you don't have to shovel rain, though. Hope FG gets over his cold quickly and it doesn't spread to you.
ReplyDeleteYour snow is so pretty! As is your tree. :)
ReplyDeleteI like your tree. Ornaments with meaning and memories are the best kind.
ReplyDeleteThe snow is beautiful. We are hoping for a bit of a white Christmas here.
You're doing better than I am with decorating. I have a plan, though. I'm gonna wait til your Shiny Brite tree is up, take a screen shot of the photo you'll post, and then just show the photo of your tree in my livingroom!!! I haven't done anything Christmas since GN's accident and my pneumonia, though I should try out for a Christmas choir. I could probably land a bass solo right now. I hope Far Guy is better by Christmad, too!
ReplyDeleteWe had flurries falling a good part of the afternoon and I sat and watched it come down. Now it has turned to rain but tomorrow it may snow again! I do love watching it fall. I can sympathize with your man, I seem to have caught some dratted germ and feel crumby. Hopefully it will be short-lived.For both of us.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry about Far Guy! Hope he is better soon. xo Lynn
ReplyDeleteps - the tree is pretty!
Sure looks like Christmas up your way! Hope Far Guy gets better in time to enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteLucky you! Snow AND your tree is up? Is that a real tree? It's really beautiful. Presents are all out and mailed but no cookies or cards or 2015 ornaments for the grands yet. It may not get done! LOL! I hope Far Guy feels better.
