We had a nice frost.
You can also see how that Popple spit its leaves all over the lawn:(
My sister sent a photo of the frosty morning at her place. She is retired now and starting her first week as a retired person.
Far Guy is a tad better today. He had several naps. Perhaps he can avoid an ER visit...I am hopeful that the antibiotic and the steroids are finally working. We had company on Friday morning...Jen and Maddie and in the afternoon my other baby brother and she who sees robins first.
I did a couple of loads of laundry and a bunch of stuff that never shows.
What's cooking: Leftover pizza
Minnesota weather: High 45F or 7C Low 23F -5C

I'm so glad to hear Far Guy is feeling a little better! Hoping that the medication would help. I really hope he can avoid another trip to the ER. And please wish your sister a happy retirement from me! I hope she enjoys having more time to do the things she loves. Sending you both a warm hug from the Netherlands!
ReplyDeleteWow, first frost is beautiful, but signals cold days ahead and that dreaded “S” word. We have cooler temperatures now thankfully, but our first frost seems to still be weeks away. Still dry as a bone here, although we did receive 1/2” of much needed rain last week. It’s supposed to rain on the just and the unjust, but we must neither! 😂 ( I know I’m taking that scripture out of context ☺️). Glad Far Guy is a tad better. RHill, TX
ReplyDeleteI like that - - a bunch of stuff that never shows! I can totally relate to that. However if we didn't do it, people would know.
ReplyDeleteVery thankful to hear improvement for your precious husband! You both take very good care of each other.
LD....Yes we got to below freezing last night. I will have to see what plants that I wanted to save, if they survived. It is a heavy frost that reminds me of our next season to come.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes to Far Guy.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great week for your sister to begin her retirement. She can look out the window with her cup of coffee and know that she can stay inside and road conditions don't matter!
Glad to hear Far Guy is feeling a tad better, wishing him continued improvement.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty frost pictures!
We had a light frost Friday morning. I shouldn't say it out loud, but I'm ready for a hard freeze. It would help with my fall allergies. LOL This is very late for a killing frost around here.
ReplyDeleteWe had a light frost here this morning also! But nothing killing yet
ReplyDeleteMy best wishes to Far Guy. Beautiful photos. ❤️
