In between

I read The Midnight Library by Matt Haig.  I enjoyed it very much and give it a 9 out of a 10 on my reading scale...at Good Reads I gave it a 4.5 out of 5.

The bookmark is a gift from Betty!  I love it...red is my favorite color!

Yesterday Far Guy got his stitches out...he had a basal cell carcinoma on his forehead and had a Moh's Surgery a week ago.  It is a good thing he sees the Dermatologist every six months.

Minnesota weather: Beautiful for October!  High 67F or 19C    Low 39F or 4C.
I wish this beautiful weather would stay all Winter!

  3. Your weather sounds perfect! We’re still in a severe drought, but at least temperatures are cooler with highs in the low 80’s. RHill, TX

  6. I just finished reading this. I agree with you. Great read. A similar book he wrote that is also good is Midnight Train. Mohs surgery was a great step forward in curing skin cancer. Glad he is taking care of his health that way.

  8. I liked the Sally Dallas book you recommended. I’ll try this book too. Glad you can mark your place.

My laura is a redhead. Her skin is susceptible to skin cancer. She’s trying to be careful. She has special sun screen and a special hat. Glad they spotted this one on FG’s forehead.

  9. My husband has had five skin surgeries this summer and now they just found another one. A wart on his hand! He also has leukemia so we are constantly looking at his skin. Not fun.
Glad farguy got his taken care of.

  10. Your weather has been so mild. Ours seems to be changing into what is more normal for the last week of October.
