Cloth Sloth

Jen has been working on a cloth Sloth.

It will eventually end up on a canvas and go over to flippin happy home decor and more

It is very very cold here.  We ventured out for a quick trip to Hobby Lobby yesterday when it was just 2F or -16C.  I needed a skein of yarn to finish a project!

I laid down in between loads of laundry and watched Peanut Butter Falcon on Netflix.  It  was a good movie I give it a 8 out of 10.

We made lasagna for supper.

  3. Jen is creative. It is cold. I don't think the furnace ever stops running. Lasagna is something of a task to make but it is worth it.

  4. The sloth is so cute and I hope you will show us a picture when she completes this art project. Lasagna sounds like a great comfort food meal for a very cold day.... What project are you working on now.?

  9. Hobby Lobby and Lasagna - - - two wonderful things! I may have mentioned that we do a Taco pizza pasta dish that is similar. Leftover taco meat mixed with Paul Newman's Marinara sauce. Mix in rotini pasta. Heat. Then add Italian shredded cheese to the top and heat until that is melted. I do use GF pasta for this. It is as delicious as a cooked casserole dish in the oven and can be done in the microwave if you have the meat and pasta cooked. We do it this way since there are just the two of us. It's so yummy, our younger grandson asks for it when he visits.

Hopefully this cold weather snaps soon. It's been miserable at home.

  14. I think sloths are so cute and Jen's is a perfect one! They always look like they're smiling, but they sure have claws! I made Mexican lasagna tonight and took it, a salad, bread and Valentine cookies to the new parents for dinner tonight. Then I came home and put some sausage in the air fryer for us. It was good too. :-)

  16. Jen's sloth looks like he's going to be adorable! I could be happy with Hobby Lobby and lasagna too. My granddaughter Olivia used to call that store Jolly Holly, and she loved going there. We actually drove to Brookings for Jackrabbit basketball last night. That walk from the parking lot to the door - BRRRR!!
