We were married 55 years ago today.
It was cold...it was like -20 F or -29 C that day. Cold. That is what most people recall about that day. My baby brother said the other day " You remember how cold it was? AND I had to haul gifts out of the church to the car!"

ReplyDeleteNice! Our real anniversary was a few days ago and that would have put us at 28 years. Since this marriage was our second time around for each of us, we don't get too excited about the anniversary. LOL. We got 'sentenced' in court with his parents as witnesses.

ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary!! 55 years is a wonderful milestone to reach. I love that photo! We got married in March, and it will be 48 years. We had the opposite kind of weather - 60 degrees. You just never know in this part of the world if March will still be winter and spring. We got spring.
