Imagine my surprise when I saw that the weedy little daisy in our rocks on the West side of the house decided to bloom.
No one said November 17th was too late to bloom.
The rabbits, squirrels, skunk, deer or bear have trampled part of it... I have treated the area with round-up many times over the Summer and into the Fall...yet the daisy blooms.
Far Side
That's a stubborn plant. The local gardening group has seen several posts of flowers still in bloom here, mostly pansies and petunias. This morning, one post included lettuce! And we've had snow.
ReplyDeleteHard to keep a good flower down! lol

Perhaps the daisy is "round-up ready" like most soybeans these days.
ReplyDeleteJust like a little hope can bloom. All things are possible!
ReplyDeleteI had yellow iris blooming a week ago!
ReplyDeleteSo the daisy says, "I'll show you , Lady".
ReplyDeleteIt's certainly an odd fall! It does show you how resilient nature is!
ReplyDeleteLet it bloom.... it's prettier than rocks :o) I have a blue pansy still hanging in there.
ReplyDeleteGarden surprises are fun to find. Enjoy the blooms!
ReplyDeleteNature is strong - and persistent!
ReplyDeleteThat is one persistent little flower. Mom's favorite flowers are daisies so I always think of her when I see one.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
So tiny and nice
ReplyDeleteGives me great hope today. Thank you. :)
ReplyDeleteSigns of the impossible, along with hope are very welcomed
ReplyDeleteYay for that persistent little daisy.
ReplyDeleteThat is a nice little surprise! I suspect with this weather that my strawberry plants are still growing under their blanket. Sounds like some weather is suppose to be coming in.
ReplyDeleteThat's a very determined little daisy ❀˖°❁❀˖°
