My newest start of a project. A Nordic Mosaic pattern all done in red and white.
It is not going very fast! I stopped to do those Mosaic bags.
Baxter thought one of the red yarn balls was a ball...no harm done...but he got my attention real fast!
We had a quiet day Saturday. Trying to figure out what day will be a baking day this week...most likely Wednesday...pumpkin bread and pumpkin pie in a pan without a crust ( we have a number of Gluten Free people)....mashed potatoes which can only be done just before we eat.
I am still working on the old photo scanning project in my spare time.
A dog on a farm truck at my Paternal Grandparents home.
Far Side
Love the dog on the truck!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a beautiful red and white pattern. :)
The mosaic crocheting is just so pretty. And intriguing.
ReplyDeleteWe had an old truck that looked a lot like your grandparents' truck. The body was built in 1939, and Dad had built a wooden box for it. I'm not sure where it ended up, but I'm pretty sure it was still running into the 80's.
When I make gluten-free pies, I use a nut crust---or gluten-free vanilla wafers. Just a thought.
ReplyDeleteI hope this gets through. Life has been rough for a awhile. I am in the process of taking chemo treatments.
ReplyDeleteYou Baxter story reminded me of the time our poodle decided the paper laying on the coffee table looked like his. It was a check sent to us for six thousand dollars and it was retrieved by two adults quickly. It was a little wet but not ruined. We had just taken it out of the envelope.
ReplyDeleteI like the pattern and the colors. I'm not feeling much like baking but I know someone who would appreciate a pie.
ReplyDeletePauline I am so sorry to hear of your cancer and its chemo...stay strong!
ReplyDeleteI'm liking the look of that Nordic project very much!
ReplyDeleteI am making lists now of what needs to be done each day. Thanksgiving week is upon us.
I love that pretty red and white thingy. Another wonderful creation by the intrepid creator! :-)
ReplyDeleteI love the farm truck and dog.
ReplyDeleteMy Dad had the exact same truck...box and all. Brings back some good memories.
ReplyDeleteBaxter will not find that ball very tasty if he ends up eating it... Gotta love dogs.
ReplyDeleteLove your nordic mosaic pattern....looks really great. Have a good time cooking and baking this week. May you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteYour work always amazes me.
ReplyDeleteThat dog on the truck! Love it.
I recall the time our goat decided he should stand on our little truck's hood.
Yeah, it wasn't funny, though it was!
Love your new mosaic project. I ordered some bags from Amazon to made bags for people for NEXT Christmas. It's never to early to begin planning for next year is it?
ReplyDeleteThe kids will be here on Wednesday. I'm getting so excited to see Baby J. A week won't be long enough but we plan to make the most of every day.
Blessings and hugs,
Betsy
I really like the "just red and white" makes the pattern stand out that much more , the bags are a neat project.
ReplyDeleteI love the red and white Scandinavian pattern. When my daughter was six I knit her a Norwegian sweater in red and white and I still have it! I should get it out for one of the youngest grandsons I guess.
ReplyDeleteWI Badgers scarf colors ;) On a more serious note, the pattern is lovely and looks challenging.
