We had some sunshine and that really perks a person up!
We went for a Ranger Blue ride and took our recycles to the recycle bins. We recycle everything that we can.
We have three deer that are visiting our yard during the night. The raccoons and the skunk seem to be hibernating. The rabbit hops through every once in a while. My baby brother saw a wolf across the road.
Far Side
I hibernated for the weekend! We finally got to see sunshine too and it stopped snowing. We actually didn't get that much and most of it blew away.
ReplyDeleteWe are in for a bit of a warm up which will be welcome.
Gorgeous photos. We don't have recycling here. Kind of drives me crazy because we too, have always recycled. In Washington, our recycling bin was twice as big as the garbage one and the one we had here at the houes was smaller. But here at the apartment there is no plafe to recycle.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
You are right, blue skies always perk me up too, even when the temperature is really cold! :-)
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately we have some active skunks in our area at night even in this very cold weather! I know the odor can travel a mile but I am tired of smelling it in our backyard or from the woods a couple of times a week! Your pictures are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI recycle everything I can, too. I wish it was affordable for more communities to have a recycling program.
ReplyDeleteI agree wholeheartedly, I can deal with the snow much better when the sun is shining and the skies are blue. Probably because no snow is falling! It looks so much prettier too.
ReplyDeleteI recycle as much as I can here too. Every little bit helps.
P.S. I do hope the rabbit avoids the wolf.
Scary seeing a wolf
ReplyDeleteSunshine on sparkling fresh snow is always a boost!
ReplyDeleteWe have a large coyote that travels through our yard (no wolves!) and a herd of deer. I haven't seen the racoons for a while.
I saw my first rabbit here on Hallowe'en night. I was so excited. The old house had tonnes of rabbits. I thought we'd have even more here (with our proximity to the country), but I never see any. We have A LOT of hawks though so I'm guessing that's why.
ReplyDeleteYour snow looks lovely, especially under a bright blue sky. We still have some, but there's lots of grass peeking out.
We recycle as much as we can. Dave gets a little over-zealous and tries to recycle things we can't. I'm constantly sorting things out of the small bin, before it gets put into our big pick-up bin
I have never seen a wolf! I have seen one coyote, it was strolling down the gravel road. I hear them sometimes but not as much as I used to. We used to take our recycling in but the township contracted for recycling so now it's picked up.
ReplyDeleteYou have a very bright day with your new snow.
ReplyDeleteBlue skies & sunny days in the Winter are the best!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures. I agree, sunshine definitely raises one's spirits.
ReplyDeleteBlue skies make snow better.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteIt's a shame that the apartments have no recycling here in Fargo and yet all the houses do! After I move I will be able to recycle--a lot! :) :)
ReplyDeleteI love the snow cover!
