Far Guy has been busy woodcarving, he has a spot downstairs and has a huge dust collector system that takes all the dust out of the air.
He recruited Jen to paint for him and to find good homes for the carvings.
She is keeping the water lily. No surprise as she likes anything to do with water.
This is the Gaillardia or Blanket Flower....I heard it is going to someone special.Far Side

ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful! Would love to see some in progress pictures sometime. Like how the petals are carved and how they are attached...
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are outstanding. They amaze me. I saw a Sherlock show where paper folded flowers were left for the victims. I had to look up the way to paper fold a lotus flower. I reminded me of the water lily carving. I need to get to the folding.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, such talent
ReplyDeleteYour family is incredibly talented and artistic! It seems you all can do anything you put your mind on doing.
ReplyDeleteGlad things could be set up for Far Guy to get to do some wood carving. I'm sure whoever gets the things Jen can bare to part with will love them.
