Sadie: 14 weeks

Sadie is a tad calmer this week.  She has a new Buffalo Horn to chew on and takes any boots or shoes and runs off with them.  She played a game of Grandma cannot catch me one day...she also grew another inch.  Soon she will be taller than Little Elvis.  She is also playing a bit better with Little Elvis.

Here she is napping curled around the chair next to my desk in the office...she can also climb up in that chair and grab what is on that corner of my desk, my garbage container is on top of the desk on the other side now after she almost ate a kleenex.  She is also very malodorous when she sleeps.

  1. I had to look that big word up! Perhaps Sadie is eating something that doesn't agree with her.

Nothing reachable will be safe for a while. 3 years later, we still have to hang our kitchen towel in a higher less ideal spot. Tank also continues stealing shoes and socks, but has never chewed any of them. It's all about the game.

  2. Thank goodness she hasn't chewed any of that furniture she's laying under. I still have evidence of puppy damage...chewed chair legs, a cookbook with a whole corner missing. But I will live vicariously through Sadie! She doesn't realize what a great family she ended up with! Stay warm. We might get snow today....the sky sure looks like it.

  4. Sadie won’t be able to sleep under that chair much longer if she keeps growing so quickly.

  5. Adorable! "You can't catch me" is one of Jem's favourite games. Usually when she has something in her mouth she's not supposed to!

  8. I love hearing about Sadie as she is growing up. It's good to know she is calming down a bit and getting along better with Little Elvis. Before you know it she will be a grown up dog!

  9. Aww! She is so sweet. Zoey is like that too. Busy, busy, busy but better than she was a few months ago. She minds better too. But she has pooped in the house yesterday and today! We can't figure out why. She hasn't had an "accident" for almost 3 months. I hope that's it and no more!
She loves Dennis's slippers and runs off with them. She doesn't chew them, just sleeps on them. Lizze can still fit under furniture but not Zoey. I picked up Lizzie again today for a play date and then we'll take her home and have dinner with the kids.
    Have a great day Connie.
    Blessings,
    Betsy

  14. She is simply adorable. I think it would be hard to love her and not get to take her home! I too have problems with malodorific toots.:-)

  18. I like them doing all things but a sleeping dog is comforting to see.

  19. I had a pup who just could not resist Kleenex and toilet paper! Too funny!
A mouse trap on the Kleenex box stopped that.
    Funny on the Maladorific tooters!

  20. Sadie is growing up fast. Our Westie, Lilie, is almost five, and will still steal things out of the bin given half a chance. Hope you have better luck than we did breaking the habit. LOL!
