Praising God for our country - - founded on the faith and leadership of God. Praying for peace and unity today as we remember! We are blessed to live in such a wonderful place!
I am picturing in my mind that tragic morning - and the fear in the faces of my HS students and all of our staff. Ironically it was Homecoming week at our school, and the theme that day was to honor our military. Staff that were veterans (or active duty National Guard) were in uniform, and we had lots of students who had borrowed various uniform pieces. It was a surreal day that I hope we never see repeated.
Amen. Thank you for this beautiful post. May we always remember the lives that have been sacrificed both on 9/11 and by our military members and police through the years as they guard and protect each one of us.
Thanks for stopping by! I appreciate your comments! If you have a question I will try to answer it here. I no longer accept anonymous comments. All comments will be approved before posting...due to spammers...may the fleas of a thousand camels infest every hair on his body. Connie

ReplyDeleteYes, long may she wave... and be honored & defended... which seems out-of-fashion these days. *sigh* ~Andrea xoxo
