Monday Happenings

We went to check out the construction on our road and came back on the trail next to the bean field.

We had a busy day, Far Guy overdid it at Pulmonary Therapy yesterday morning so he is feeling crappy.  He has been brewing something in his chest and was started on Antibiotics last Friday.  Our weather has been very hot and humid so that doesn't help breathing either.   His Pulmonary Dr is on top of things...and so am I.

We did errands in town and went to woodcarving for a little while, we had to leave when a person started wood burning.

Our corner is getting gravel...so it may be paved sometime soon...maybe. It is pretty dusty.  Hope we get rain to settle the dust.

We still have a bottomless pit of money at the Credit Union to pay bills with.  Six weeks I have been at this Bill Pay with no real solution. The bills are paid but the money never leaves the account...I told them yesterday that it is a great arrangement for us!

July is half over with ...seems like summer is going real fast now.

  2. Bill pay--don't we all wish it worked like that. ;)
I am glad you are taking it in such stride and laughing at it.
Far Guy... stay well...we love you.

  3. I wonder what the heck is going on with the credit union. And I do hope the antibiotics kick in for FG real soon. :-(

That's crazy about the Credit Union.

  5. Summer was late arriving, and now the calendar seems to be in a rush for it to leave. 😕

  6. This humidity is so hard on everyone. I have a dear friend with pulmonary hypertension and on oxygen 24/7. She is feeling housebound this last couple of weeks because her portable unit can't put out enough oxygen for her with the heat and humidity. So she's stuck at home every day. Hope Far Guy feels better soon.

  7. What is the name of your credit union? I could use that arrangement.

  8. How nice to have a bottomless pit of money! That probably won't last! :) Sorry to hear that far guy is getting sick again. Gosh, always something. Hope things can calm down somewhat for you two and get better for awhile at least. Such hot weather everywhere.....I don't like the heat at all. 70's are my favorite in summer. Blessings to you both.

  9. That's rough for Far Guy. I hope he's feeling better soon.

I've never known a financial institution not to figure out when someone owes them money. I'm sure it will happen!

  10. I will step up my prayers for Far Guy. I sure hope the antibiotics are kicking in. It's good to know that you're on top of things.
I want to join your Credit Union. Ours takes money out with regularity...every time I pay a bill. It never fails to amaze me that when I use my debit card, it's already gone from our account before we get home!
    Blessings,
    Betsy

  11. The Credit Union is probably taking it out of some poor guy's account. I hope he's complaining.

  12. That is strange with the money! I had forgot you telling about that before. Maybe you have a fair Godmother that you don't know about.

  14. July sure is flying by!!
I hope the antibiotic deals effectively with whatever is going on with Far Guy. He sure doesn't need any more problems.

  15. That credit union issue would really concern me. I hope you get it figured out.

  16. I certainly hope Far Guy doesn't get sick. Call that credit union and get them on finding out what the problem is. That would make me crazy. When I pay a bill online it leaves my account instantly.

  17. Hope your part of the road gets paved really soon. Construction is such a messy process and road construction seems to drag on forever! It would be good to clear the air. Maybe the gravel will help with that.

  18. One would hope they would sort the problem out fast at the credit union. Just not the same anymore. Keep on keepin' Far Guy in ship-shape.

  19. I hope Far Guy is doing better, sorry ... missed a couple of days while catching up. The humidity and now the excess heat was hard on Rich too. Thank goodness for A/C.
