We have enough snow already

It snowed again…imagine that.  Big huge flakes.

Enough already!  I went to the couch to hibernate…how do bears do it anyways…I had to get up to pee….and then the phone rang…so hibernation was not possible.   Back to knitting and woodcarving and looking out the window.

22 inches

The local television channels beep beep beep weather announcements don’t even make us pay attention anymore.   Seems all of February has been bad weather announcements.

  1. I just learned that it's still icy in many places we usually walk on Saturday mornings, all left over from our big snow. But your just keeps on coming down! 22 inches? Is that a record? :-)

  2. Good Morning.. I read your blog every morning and sometimes tell my husband what you said etc. He is always interested mostly in your weather. He will watch the weather and say.. Your friend from Minnesota is really getting pounded with snow. I can't wait to read him your blog this morning. He will get a kick out of it. Any way I hope spring comes soon for you. Take care and have a nice day.

  3. Oh my, I can only imagine how you feel! That is a lot of snow to melt, well hope a warm wind comes through and blows most of it away. I'm glad you have hobbies to keep you busy inside. We are at day 21 of snow on the ground here, which is unusual for us at this time of the year. I got caught in town yesterday when it started to snow hard. Had to cut my thrifting visit short and head home as I was in the car and it doesn't have snow tires. As I look out now there are some big flakes coming down, oh, and as quickly as they started they have stopped. I used to aim to plant my potatoes on Mar 3. That won't be happening this year.

  4. Goodness, I think we'll all be happy to see spring this year. Hopefully you won't have flooding will all that snow.

  5. Even Arizona had lots of snow this go round. Sigh!

  6. We were and are still having predictions of bad things. Nothing happened with the rainstorm. No snow in sight but it is on the Nebraska border coming our way. We are on the edge of the blizzard from Arizona but the line they draw is not always obeyed by the storm itself.

  8. I sympathize entirely. We got about 6 more inches last night. Enough already. Mandy went to work this morning, (She’s a nurse,) and said there’s no way she’ll be able to get home tonight with a blizzard raging. She’s just going to find somewhere to sleep since she works tomorrow too. I’m dreaming of spring.
    Blessings,
    Betsy

  9. Some days after lunch I try to nap and every time, the phone rings etc. We have had about as much rain as you have snow. We are expected to have severe thunderstorms tonight. Spring cannot arrive fast enough.

  10. Enough snow for sure! What an unusual winter! Hopefully turning the calendar page later this week will bring better weather all around.

  11. We who usually get excited about snow around here are now groaning whenever we hear there might be more, and swear when wet flakes fall out of the sky. I think we are going to escape actual accumulation, but rain/snow showers are in the forecast.
We who might escape send our sympathy to Minnesota.

  12. Same here in South Dakota. I sure hope March gets a lot better. Spring can’t come soon enough.
