It was a grey day yesterday, almost like it wanted to snow.
I did odds and ends all day long until it was time for my Netflix fix so I watched Benji. I give it 5 out of 5 stars…my kind of movie.
Chance and I walked outside after supper, it was cold enough that the ground is frozen and not muddy. Of course it was a no snow melting day.

Here is another view of June.
I have many cousins and they have children…on Friday one of those children died from Breast Cancer that spread….Tammy was 49 years old. It seems to me that the older generation should die before the younger generation. The only comfort there is in this situation…she was a woman of great faith in our Lord and Savior and heaven is now her home.
You are right - the older should go before the younger. But oh how we hate to see any of them go.
ReplyDeleteOur sympathy in your loss of a family member. We rejoice that she had faith in our Lord Jesus Christ and is now enjoying all the promises of heaven.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry to hear of your loss. I feel the same way.
ReplyDeleteSo sad to have people that young die way too early.
ReplyDeleteI hope it is a good week ahead.
I am always so terribly sad to hear about young people die young. I so sorry for you and her family! :(
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear of your family's loss. I'm glad that you can find comfort in your faith.
ReplyDeleteAnd about that snowbank, looks like I'll not be collecting the snow stick prize this week. Unfortunately for you, I guess.
Sorry for your family's loss.
ReplyDeleteMost of my cousins and the Bennie's or the older generation and they are no more.
ReplyDeleteHard to believe WE are still here just having fun????
Yes, there is a natural order to things and we don't like to see that pushed aside. My sympathies to all Tammy's family and friends. ffff cancer!
ReplyDelete49 is definitely too young but thankful you all - - - and me, too - - will see her one day!
ReplyDeleteYour snow - - and weather - - oh my! My thought is if and when spring/summer gets here, you all will be celebrating every single day - - as long as the pollen doesn't bother FG's lungs.
It's very sad to lose someone so young. My son was 40, also too young, but we don't have a say in when our loved ones are called back. I hope you take some time for yourself today.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry for your loss. It's a consolation that she's in heaven but still...
ReplyDeleteIt's a gray and wet day here. Hope you get some warm weather soon.
Sad when a young person is taken from us in the prime of their life.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear of your loss. That is much too young an age to go. I'm sure her faith did help her in her illness. I wish the best for your family in this loss.
ReplyDeleteI guessed a June date for seeing the last of "June" but I was hoping for you that I would be wrong. Now I wonder if it may not be gone until June! Today we had our third Sunday in a row with snow - unheard of for this area. I've about decided we will go from winter directly into summer and I always hate it when we lose out on spring!
It has been a grey start to the day here but it will not last going to be another warm day
ReplyDeleteWe have a larger version of Benji in our Misty , when every one sees her for the first time that's what they all refer her to lol lovely movie then and still now . I am sorry for your families loss and at such a young age . We have had freezing rain and rain all weekend some areas up north had all that then snow the weather here has been such a mix bag and its been a very topsy turby spring .
ReplyDeleteWe are having a grey week here... so depressing at this time of year. So sorry to hear about your cousin's daughter. I've lost two to that horrible disease and both were young.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your cousin. So tragic.
ReplyDeleteIt is tough losing children. I have been losing former students who are way younger than me. One was a twin brother in a family of two sets of twins. My wife lost a nephew a couple of months ago who was the only grandchild to her dad, her only nephew. My wife’s not talking about it so I am not blogging it. Cancer seems to be continually picking of people even though more people are serving it.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry for your loss.
ReplyDeleteI cannot imagine what it must be like to lose a child no matter what their age...they are always your baby. I'm so sorry for the loss of your family member and I don't know how people can cope without faith in God. Blessings and healing to all of you.
