Snow on Monday

It snowed…heavy wet snow.

There was 15 inches at the snowstick but it snowed quite a bit after that.  We got somewhere between 6 and 7 inches of new snow…covered all the crappy yucky snow up.

15 inches March 26

Snowstick Monday morning.

getting the mail

Far Guy and Chance returning from mail duty.

I am feeling better after I hit my head on Saturday…spring cleaning will kill you!  I was either unplugging or plugging in the vacuum cleaner ( I cannot remember that part) and hit my head on the old oak telephone that is hanging on the wall….the telephone did not move.  I was dazed for a long time and slept very sound and had a real hard time waking up. Someone hovered and made sure I kept on breathing…he said maybe I need a helmet.

  1. Sweet photo of Chance and FG. So sorry about your head. We keep hitting our heads getting the pets carriers from out back seat of the car.

  2. Goodness, glad you are okay. The snow missed us again but we had some rain last night which we really needed.
MMM, a helmet while house keeping? I am smiling at the idea. I could use one too!

  3. Glad you are feeling better. Can't tell you how many times I have hit my head after bending over - usually in the refrigerator door. Very nice picture of Far Guy and Chance. Thankfully the snow missed us.

  4. Glad you are recuperating from that head thump. I've had similar thumps, but not as hard as yours was.

For sure it's not spring at your home. But when it is your wild
    flowers are always beautiful.

  10. About 5 inches of snow fell here, but thankfully most of it melted by late afternoon. I'm sure another storm will hit before Spring actually arrives.

  11. Spring needs to get there...so cleaning for Spring will feel like cleaning for spring. I am glad your head is doing better, sounds like you had a concussion.

  14. I am thinking concussion also, sure sounds like it. Glad someone was hovering over you. We are heading to Edmonton for Easter, where they have had snow on the ground every day but one, since the first of November. And it is snowing there again today. So we will get to sample what you are dealing with. The forecast is for sunshine though, so that will be really nice!

  15. I knew housework was dangerous! That sounds like a bad hit on the head - did anyone check your eyes to see if the pupils matched? I sure hope you are better now. You guys have had a rough winter! That snow needs to go away and give you some nice, warm days.

  17. Well, you sure did hit your head on that oak telephone. I remember those and can see how you concussed (?) yourself.

  18. Yikes! Sounds like you had a bit of a concussion! It's good "someone" was watching over you.
Still rooting for my snow stick date, but now I wonder if my late date was even too early. Yikes again!

  21. Glad you're feeling better now, and that things didn't go worse for you when you hit your head... What happened sounds like it was bad enough!

  22. Hey! You can't do spring cleaning! It can't possibly be spring with all that snow!

Glad you are feeling better. That fall sounded scary. Bet "someone" was relieved when you got up from your nap.

  23. Oh my goodness! You should never go to sleep after a head injury as you could not wake up or go into a coma if you had a concussion. Usually you can tell by the eyes being dilated...I think, but I could be wrong. It's been years since I had to watch the kids for that sort of thing but I remember not letting a couple of them go to sleep! Imagine that....that was the only time a mother got any rest! LOL! Take care of yourself!
