A few years ago Jen gave me a bowling ball covered in glitter for Mother’s Day.
It was looking sad. It was put on my summer list of things to do. It needed a redo.
I bought some glitter and used decoupage as the glue to hold the glitter on. The bowling ball sat in the cooler about a week, with me dabbing on the glue and sprinkling glitter. Yesterday Jen bought over a clear spray sealer.
She put it back on the stand. It is back to being pretty again! It is probably back on the stand correctly also!
Wow, that sure made a difference! What a fun idea for an old bowling ball.
ReplyDeleteWhat a difference a "redo" made. Great idea for an old bowling ball.
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful! I need a redo like that! :)
ReplyDeleteI love it, wonder if I can convince my husband to make one for the garden.
ReplyDeleteI would never have thought you could do that :-D.
ReplyDeleteAn exceptional "gazing ball." I like it!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful redo.
ReplyDeleteWell now that is just cute as a bugs ear.
ReplyDeleteI really like that.
It is refurbished! I would probably drop the ball during the process and damage myself or something.
ReplyDeleteI like it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful thing to do with an old bowling ball. I wonder if we still have ours somewhere??
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea!!

ReplyDeleteUnique!
I have seen lots of gardeners decorate with bowling balls. It was the thing to do a while back. But none of them were ever glittery!
ReplyDeleteIt actually looks better than new!
ReplyDeleteIt sure is pretty with all that glitter! :-)
