What isn’t snow is ice

We ventured to town for “supplies” every parking lot and most of the streets in town are icy.  It is the season of cars in the ditch and broken hips.  Many cars have been in accidents too…their fenders are sagging or their tail lights are uncovered.

Today we are to get more snow and possibly rain.  I will take the snow anyday before the rain. Uffda…Far Guy says he is tired of the winter already.

We have been keeping busy.  The other day we attacked upstairs for a complete dusting and move the furniture cleaning.  My “area” up there is not neat enough to dust yet, but I will get around to it soon.

I have “stuff” to list on ebay and packages to be mailed…makes a bit of a mess.

  1. Anything involving shipping throws everything into a disaster around here. I'm trying to come up with a dedicated shipping area. Hasn't happened yet.

  4. My guess is you are going to do some cooking this week, too and then start decorating Christmas trees? You are always so productive especially when you feel well.

  5. Just catching up on your posts- wow you did get a good dump of snow.Love the pink sunset, but not the snow! We have escaped snowfall so far but I think that is about to end soon. Hope you stay safe on the roads this winter as well as the sidewalks.

  8. Do you have good luck with listing things to sell on Ebay. I will be needing to sell soon. We have a lot of Facebook Buy, Sell, Trade sites but I don't see much moving in merchandise. Happy Thanksgiving. Stay safe from the snow and ice!

  9. Do you sell it yourself on Ebay or do you use a 'seller'? Do you research prices of similar items or do you just list for .99 and hope it takes off? You seemed to have good luck last time but I found it quite time consuming. Maybe I'm making too big a deal out of it? Any tips would be appreciated! I have lots I could sell! LOL!

  11. The older that I become the lest tolerant I am of the snow and ice. We don't have it right now but it is in the air. Once I blink it could be out there. Be careful.

  13. We get the same weather as Linda ( above comment) since we don't live that far apart even if its different countries. And I'm so tired of our wet and dreary weather too. Snow and ice are treacherous but at least they're pretty to look out at. Stay safe.

  14. I heard MN got hit bad with storms. Please stay safe and isn't getting all that stuff out of the house, whether selling it or mailing gifts, just a nice feeling?!

  15. You always seem to have a lot of projects you conquer in the winter! At least that's one good thing to say about being housebound by the snow and ice!
