We gathered for Maddie’s Party before the graduation ceremony. About 60 people attended.
The menu was sliders, french fries, coleslaw, pickles and cake.
The cake…that is her horse dog Deacon.
That blue food coloring was something else. Trica asked her father if he was feeling okay, he had blue lips.
My Mom made Maddie a small quilt. It has horses in the material.
My parents with Maddie.
Our five grands in fine form.
Youngest to oldest
Tallest to shortest
Congrats to Maddie. How nice to see your parents with her and I do love that quilt. Fun photos of your grands.
ReplyDeleteI could never figure out blue frosting
ReplyDeleteGreat family photos. I think it's special that your mom made a quilt as a gift. Love it! The party menu sounds great! That blue frosting isn't even a light blue. It looks dark! Beautiful cake.
ReplyDeleteAs always, great kid shots :-).
ReplyDeleteGreat family pictures. I love her cake.
ReplyDeleteIt is always fun to see your grandchildren lined up for pictures. All of them look kind and sweet.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like it is true that we shrink- - lose height - - as we age! Judging from the grands' faces, it looks like they had a super fun time!
ReplyDeleteA big event indeed. Congratulations to the graduate. We went to Hayden Prairie in Iowa on Sunday and saw hundredd of Yellow Ladyslippers just like your header...:) And for the second time ever several small clumps of the white version.
ReplyDeleteLaffs. They sure know the line up drill!!! :)
ReplyDeleteProud grandmother that you are.
ReplyDeleteI have six but they are never together
Only have photos when they were small.

ReplyDeleteWowsa! What a cake....funny about the blue lips. Congratulations to your granddaughter! What a nice menu....I just got done mowing and I'm hungry...sorry. I always love your pictures of the grands...oldest to youngest and tallest to shortest...what a hoot! I love horses too and I sure miss mine. What a great quilt your Mom made for her. Where's the picture of you and Far Guy with her?
ReplyDeleteFrom what I can see that is an awesome quilt. And an awesome young lady. I wish her all the best. I can hardly wait until next week when grandson #1 grads!!
ReplyDeleteIt's a great event, and it's so wonderful that anybody is helping to celebrate! :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful quilt! And a fun family celebration.
ReplyDeleteA quilt maker who is still quilting. There are so few of that generation that does that anymore. Today the younger ones are creating artworks and not following block repeats for patterns. Graduation party time and the cake looked great and blue too.
