We had an evening out with our youngest daughter Jennifer and some of her friends. Her friends seem to accept us just the way we are. The food was great and we enjoyed the girl’s stories and laughter.
The sunset last night was lovely.
The days seem to be going faster and faster, I barely accomplish a few necessary things and it is time to go to bed. I am sure the days still have 24 hours…but something seems amuck. Some days I feel like the NON energizer bunny… time flies by and I go slower.
The cool weather and early sunsets don't help with energy either, do they?
ReplyDeleteI hear you! It's amazing how quickly time is flying by. :-)
ReplyDeleteOh, I think we all feel that way. As long as you have fun, laughter and sunsets like this to sprinkle in a day, it's a good one.
ReplyDeleteI hate to tell you that it's aging!!! We slow down. Energy leaves us. But we still have time to enjoy good things like a visit with your daughter.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful sunset. Glad I'm not alone in noticing the days are getting shorter. Thinking it is time to get ready to hibernate for the winter as my body is slowing down. Oh wait, that is what my hubby calls getting older. Happy to hear you had a good visit with you daughter and her friends.
ReplyDeleteI have noticed that the older I get the faster time goes.

That is a spectacular sunset! The Monday holiday threw my whole week off kilter.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous sunset. This time of year, Mother Nature really does show off!
ReplyDeleteThat pretty much describes me lately too. But I am usually that way this time of the year. I call it the September slump, as the days get shorter, the weather is changing, summer is lagging, and out in the garden tha plants are literally slumping. it's all OK. It's natural.
ReplyDeleteAwesome sky! I'm so happy that fall is here, but so much is just in the air here with Mark still recuperating. I hope to get out with the camera soon...I am getting tired of the back yard! LOL!~
ReplyDeleteMe too, Connie! Is it age catching up? I wonder sometimes. Your sunset is beautiful...I love sunsets!

I hear ya there ! Lovely photo . have good evening eh?!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous sunset! Thanks for sharing it with us.
ReplyDeleteWith all the smoke in the air this evening, the sunset was spectacular but eerie. So unusual that my husband stopped the car and ran out into the middle of the road to snap a photo with his phone. We were driving into a town with one of those arches, and the blazing red sun had lined up exactly with the pinnacle over its middle.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sunset photos in this post and your new one. I love fall, except for allergies. We usually nap in the afternoons and it seems by the time we eat dinner, it's time to go to bed! lol
ReplyDeleteI saw on fb where you kindly shared with relatives about the test. Isn't it funny how there is one cousin who knows EVEN MORE than the doctors?!!! There is always one. I applaud you for taking the time to share your knowledge with them. Praying that you and FG have a good day. Hi to Chance. xoxo
I am right. there. with. you. Sigh...
ReplyDeleteLovely sunset pic!! Nice to be invited to share time with a child and their friends. What a gift.
ReplyDeleteSome days just seem to float by so quickly. I just am glad to have them pass sweetly without trauma or sorrow, I guess. Those are good days. ;) ;)
Gorgeous shot! It's getting darker too early over here! Dark by 20.00 hrs.
ReplyDeleteThank goodness it's not just me! LOL! I only get about 3 priorities done a day.
ReplyDeleteI love to hang with "the youngins". I so enjoyed my family when they were here not just because they're my family but it was so nice to be around young people. I bet you had a great time!
