One Day At A Time

Far Guy's blood test came back and he will NOT have an allergic reaction to the infusion.  We are waiting for a Nurse to call us to set up a time and day to begin.  The weekly infusions SHOULD halt the destruction of his lungs.

Right now we are taking things one day at a time..putting one foot in front of the other.

We have both been a tad cranky.  I suggested that who ever was the most cranky should cook supper.  He said "Okay beautiful."

I will probably be cooking for awhile.

Our Lilac that always blooms later than all the others.

The color of your lilac is beautiful.
Wishing you both a nice Saturday.

  3. Waiting for medical test results would try anyone's patience, and being cranky is common when faced with uncertainty. Best wishes that the days ahead and Far Guy's infusion go smoothly.

  4. That is really good news. Let's hope they get a fire under their butts now to get him started on the infusions. :-)

  5. He's quick on his feet and good with words, isn't he?!! Sounds like something my husband would say when challenged like that. I don't generally mind cooking as much as planning what to cook. I have a friend whose husband cleans the kitchen for her. Talk about a blessing there.
So glad to hear that FG can start the infusions. I know it tears your heart out to watch him be so sick and it has to be frustrating/depressing at times to him, too.
    Lilacs - -- LOVE them - - - beautiful fragrance and form.

  8. Some days it is cranky and depressed. We both could become thinner if we eat my cooking or if either of us don't cook. We are having stupid cold wet weather today. I hope the infusions will make things better for Far Guy.
