I started a project early in the spring. I collected glass plates, vases and bowls. Well I did a really good job of collecting. (Imagine that) Then I got sick and had to put it all away. Last week I got everything out and designed some flowers. It was a fun project.
I wanted to share the first one. It is a smaller four piece flower. I have some larger ones, we are working on getting them all on heavy duty copper tubing.
I hope the squirrels don’t try to use it as a step ladder into the bird feeders.
I like that I don’t have to water or deadhead these flowers. Thanks to Linda for sharing about her glass flowers, they were the inspiration for mine.

I used a marine glue that is waterproof...and let it cure for at least 24 hours. :)

ReplyDeleteI have seen people put out tea cups ans saucers for bird feeders. This is the first for me seeing glass flowers. Interesting results with a great garden accent.
