A Thousand Words : A Simple Ride

“The world does not need tourists who ride by in a bus clucking their tongues. The world as it is needs those who will love it enough to change it, with what they have, where they are.” ~   Robert Fulghum

  3. Robert Fulgum is one of my favorite authors. He was the minister at the local church I go to here in Bellingham for a long time (before my time).

  4. Neat words and cool buggy. I bet your guy is an Amish guy, unlike the one that I ran into the other day. He didn't dress the dress but he was a very nice man.

  5. I grew up in northern Indiana and seeing Amish was very common. When my girls were little and we would visit my father they were amazed at the horse and buggies and strange dress.

  6. I would have hard time living as the Amish do, but I respect their way of life. They are true to their word and have such dedication to their faith. Great quote and so appropriate.
