The Snowbank named June

I think that June may be gone in April this year.  We are supposed to get really warm weather this weekend.

Always fun to see June disappear!

Something missing was not found so we did the best we could and had a new key made.  It took three different visits to two different places of business to accomplish it....but now we can cross it off of our list and I can say with certainty that the missing keys will show up now.

Far Guy has been out to visit his old car Tilly in the garage and the next door neighbor/great niece Anna stopped by with Remmy. (Remmy is a pup that was rescued from a ditch nearby last Fall...someone threw her out the window) She grew over the Winter!

What's cooking: My other baby brother brought us over a couple of jars of venison soup that was really good so we didn't have to cook our first night back.   Yesterday we made Chicken Enchiladas before watching the big Hockey game...we lost so it was not a fun game to watch.

Minnesota Weather:  Sunny.  The breeze coming off the snow is chilly.  High 46F or 8C  Low was 30F or -1C eh!

  1. Glad you’re back home in your own place! I have had venison many different ways, but never soup. Sounds delicious.

How can people be so cruel to animals and humans? I think there is a special place in H*ll for some people.

  2. Must feel good to be back in your home. No place like home...no matter how much we love other places and the people we visit.

  3. Oh no - missing keys! That can't be good. We have a light drizzly rain this morning here. Wish it would really rain. Dave hired a lawn care service to thatch our lawn and they were here yesterday, so the green grass looks better after getting rid of the winter debris.

  4. Bye-bye June! So glad Remmy found a loving home. I will never understand animal cruelty.

  5. I am thinking you won't mind if June makes and early departure! Of course you will now find the keys after getting them replaced!

  6. A puppy visit! I'm sure you enjoyed seeing Remmy (and Anna too). Lucky pup to survive and find a wonderful home.
Of course, the keys will show up now. :)

  8. Hope the snow melts so you and FG can go for a ride in Tilly.

Yelp, the key will be found now and you’ll remember putting it there!

  9. I thought, Huh?, and then I remembered that June is a pile of snow. :-)
Irene lost her phone in the airport. We knew it was there from tracking it. A week later Jill bought a new one, and then the call came from the airport, "Found your phone!"
    Yep.

  10. Good to know that Remmy has a home now. Any idea what kind of dog he is?
I sure hope the nice weather materializes for you. No more snow this Spring.

  11. It takes a long time for snow in the trees to melt. When spring comes, it will be fast.

  13. We're supposed to be 80 tomorrow! This has been a very strange April so far. I'm glad you're back home safely and that Far Guy has been reunited with Tilly.
    Blessings and hugs,
