Stash

I finished one blanket using up part of my "stash."

It is a shell stitch.  I  was not thrilled with the one blue/grey bunch of yarn but it is what it is.

Yesterday was a busy day.  Far Guy tackled all kinds of small projects while I did some laundry and got rid of a bunch of over the hill stuff in the fridge!

We made pork chops and rice for supper with peaches.

Friday night we went out with my other baby brother and she who sees robins first for supper at a local place...the food was good.

Saturday was the Frozen Four Championship.  So we watched hockey in the afternoon.

Minnesota weather:  High 46F or 8C  Low was 40F or 4C.  It rained a little.  It is supposed to be 70F on Sunday...we will see if that happens.  I think we still have too much snow cover for that to happen!

  2. I think the blanket turned out beautiful. And...you were able to use up some of your "Stash"...this is good. It's always nice to go out (especially with our brothers) and enjoy a good meal and conversation.

  3. Oh, I love the blanket. It’s perfect.

Sounds like you are settling in to being home again. Bet it feels so good.

I hope you get to feel that 70. It’ll warm your bones!

  4. Cleaning out the fridge and disposing of stuff no longer fit to be eaten is not a job I enjoy. But a necessary one from time to time.

  6. We watched the championship game and reminisced about fond hockey family memories with our son. It was a great game! Didn't end well for my Badgers, but they have nothing to hang their head about.

Warm, humid and windy here. Already.

You and Far Guy have certainly kept busy since returning home. Hope the snow stays away!

  14. The blanket turned out great. We turned the AC on here this morning because it was so humid. It's supposed to cold again later in the week but sometimes you just have to dry things out from the dampness.
    Blessings and hugs,
    Betsy
