We had a busy day, Far Guy got my lawn mower put away and woodcarving supplies gathered. Medications were organized, some had to be ordered. Far Guy takes 24 different medications...so that in itself is a task.
I gathered my outside mowing clothing, washed them and put them away. I made a list of the books I need to take along for book club, found them all and added a few from my stash.
The pile on the couch is growing larger and I have no yarn or crafts over there yet.
I washed the dining room window inside and outside then had a nap. Lots of twisting and turning washing a window...who knew?
The afghan I was working on is almost done, I am tying the ends in preparation for an envelope border...it remains to be seen if it will be finished or not. It will be close.
A few Christmas Ornaments were delivered.
Supper was steak, salmon, baked potato, carrots and peaches. Yummy!
Minnesota Weather: High 49F or 9C Low was 32F...but I think it was colder than that because it was frosty out when I got up.
Far Side
What a preparation!
ReplyDeleteYour dinner sounds delicious!
Those plants are so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteIt is in the low 30's again here this morning. Looks like you are really getting things done!
That does sound like a very busy day. The dinner sounds like it was deliious.
ReplyDeleteI am super impressed with how much you both accomplished especially after feeling so yucky with vaccine reactions. It sounds like your departure date for Jen's is coming around the corner quickly.
ReplyDeleteI have never heard of having outside mowing clothes but I think I like that idea and may have to try it myself, next season.
ReplyDeleteGood morning Connie.... I think I need you down here in Texas for a week. Oh the things we could get accomplished, plus you could teach me all of your arts!! crocheting, making the most beautiful cards, cooking, and the list goes on. It does feel good when you get so many things done in a day and can then rest. Prayers continue for you both..
ReplyDeleteWow! 24 meds! You need a full time pharmacist for that.
ReplyDeleteYou and FG may need a U-Haul. I can not imagine that many meds. I take one for my blood pressure. I’m glad you had a little time in the “big woods”.
ReplyDeleteI need to wash windows. My joints don't really like it anymore so I haven't done it.
ReplyDeleteGoodness, that is a lot of medications. I'd need a nurse to keep things straight. Is that you?
ReplyDeleteIt's cold back at home, and they are expecting a wintry mix of rain and snow. No real accumulation just yet, thankfully.
On the other hand it is hot here in Yuma, 66F this morning, and a high of 95F this afternoon. It is taking a little time to get used to it!
Windows: it amazes me how much mess it makes to wash windows....but the end result is well worth it!
ReplyDeleteLots to do getting ready for winter and also your move to your daughter's home. It keeps you busy!!
ReplyDeleteYou're getting a lot done! I think we're going to get our flu shots tomorrow and I will get my pneumonia shot too. It was 34 here this morning and terribly foggy. Dennis took his truck to get an oil leak checked and I had to pick him up as it would take all day for some reason, just to look at it. I could barely see 1/2 block infant of the car. I was really glad to get back home.
ReplyDeleteWash windows? Guess I should do that before it gets really cold outside. Yikes!
Blessings and hugs,
Betsy
I'm sure there is a lot to organize before moving north for the winter. Sounds like you have it under control however, especially with your ornament tradition. So the naps are well deserved. Good for you!!
