I had a quiet day, I slept late, did some laundry and cleaned the bathroom. Far Guy and Jen ran errands. For supper I had vegetable beef soup and Far Guy and Jen had Thai Chicken and Zucchini.
My pain might be a little less at times...I am hopeful.
About supper time it began to snow. We are supposed to get a few inches and then it will blow around.
The dirty snow is all covered up!
Far Side
great minds think alike...took some veg beef soup out of the freezer for today....no snow here, just rain and thankfully no ice either
ReplyDeleteSoup sounds good. I bet the new snow is at least a better view.
ReplyDeleteAny chance for you to post the recipe for Thai chicken and zucchini? Sounds delicious. I got to sleep in today, and only because my husband is not feeling well today. We woke up to a very thick layer of ice on everything.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter made the chicken so I have no idea:)
DeleteA new refreshing fall of the white snow has made things pretty again. Soup sounds warm and comforting.....AND good! Glad you were able to sleep in and rest your back. enjoy the day.
ReplyDeleteI like looking at clean white snow. Piles of dirty snow in parking lots sometimes depress me. Our snow is gone for now. We had a few days in the 40s. But now we are predicted to have a week of 20s and 30s. Still hoping for that shot to make a significant difference. I know you will hang in there. You always do.
ReplyDeleteYay for a fresh dusting of snow! Fingers crossed we get a bit of the white stuff this weekend. Truly hope each day finds you with less pain.
ReplyDeleteWe got a dusting of snow overnight but it's supposed to get serious Friday night into Saturday. Thai chicken sounds good.
ReplyDeleteYes! I love that the ground is all beautiful and white again today!! The wind should quit blowing it all about soon. Soup is great on a cold snowy day. :)
ReplyDeleteAs long as it is just a small amount of snow...no big piles necessary.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear the pain may be decreasing. Crossing my fingers and my toes, it continues.
Campbells Vegetable Soup is my go to "sick" soup, for when I just don't feel good at all. It is soothing.
ReplyDeleteYay that you got that fresh white snow. No one needs to have to just look at dirt. :-)
The one nice thing about fresh snow is that it covers up the older snow. I hope you continue to recover from whatever is causing your pain.
ReplyDeleteThe snow look nice now! We're having chicken and homemade noodles with cranberry sauce for dinner tonight. I baked 25 - five inch heart shaped cakes and 12 cupcakes this afternoon for our Valentine Cake decorating party tomorrow night with Curt and Barb, Jeff and Angie, (our minister and his wife), and Amanda, who is a single lady at our church that we do a lot with. I think we're going to have a good time.
ReplyDeleteYay for the pain being less, even a little! I got 11 vials of blood sucked out of me at the lab this morning for the endricinolgist. Only two sticks! It's a record!
Blessings,
Betsy
Fresh white snow looks so pretty. sadly it doesn't stay that way or so I have heard
ReplyDeleteSoup sounds delicious. Glad you are a little better. Fingers crossed.
ReplyDeleteOh gee....I love those little lit trees with the stars. What a neat idea. I guess I should expect things like that from the crafty family that you have! So cool!
ReplyDeleteQuiet days are good, and fresh snow does cover up the dirty snow!
