Andy and Jen just retuned from a getaway in Saint Martin. Sadie missed them while they were gone but as you can guess she was in good hands.
The kids said it was 100 degrees warmer there than in Minnesota....who knows with our -30F to -40F windchills it could have been more than that.We are in the deep freeze for a few more days.
In other news...Peach now has step throat as Cee Cee shared the germs...so far Hey Mikey is okay.
I have several Doctor appointments this week; one with the Spine Clinic and one with the Pain Clinic. I have more Doctor's appointments than Far Guy...that rarely happens.
Stay warm!
Far Side
and safe travels too....
ReplyDeleteThat trip sounds fun. Gosh. Sorry to hear of the sickness. I hope all of your appointments go smoothly. I've had to change one of mine twice now due to icy roads. Country roads in winter are no joke around here. Your weather is much colder than ours.
ReplyDeleteThe deep freeze sucks because it forces everyone inside to breath the same air. I've been wearing a mask and doing all the things I can to keep the other half from getting sick.
ReplyDeleteWe are starting out at -17 this morning. I have to do chores and go get some groceries...yuck. I hope your appointments go well.
It’s not a good thing to have more appts than Far Guy. You left the deep freeze door open again. Your cold has drifted south. Please remember to close that door.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your doctors' appointments. The older we get the more they multiple. Sorry to hear the children are sick.
ReplyDeleteI hope the little ones get well soon! So much going around. Stay safe when you are out and about with your appointments. I hope things go successfully this week. :)
ReplyDeleteSomebody has to give the Doctors business.
ReplyDeleteI am so happy they got to take that trip. It must have felt like Paradise. Your doctors sound like ours - - - - let me fill your social calendar - - my choice - - not always yours! We have a bit of a break until March and have a few scheduled then. Praying for good answers for you.
ReplyDeleteThat is a gorgeous photo. Poor kids, that stuff transmits fast. It something to have more appointments than Far Guy!
ReplyDeletePoor kids. You will have to stay away from them for a spell. Dr offices always seem to be a tad germy also. STAY WELL!!!
ReplyDeleteBeing sick is hard on everyone, but maybe especially on little kids.
ReplyDeleteHaving to always be going to appointments is not fun. I am getting tired of my twice a week physical therapy appointments.
Oh for some of those warm temperatures at the moment!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with all your appointments! Sorry to hear the kids are passing that illness around. 100 degrees warmer. It almost sounds like a joke, doesn't it.
ReplyDeleteToo bad the little girls got sick. Hopefully they'll be feeling better soon.
ReplyDeleteI sure hope FG can stay well and not exposed to those germs. Fingers crossed.
ReplyDeleteI'm late commenting today... what a very nice trip and I'm guessing their return to cold weather was not greeted with smiles. Bless these babies hearts...Strep throat is so painful..hoping they all get better soon and hope Hey Mikey stays clear of those ugly germs...
ReplyDeleteIt's been so cold for us this winter! $529.30 for last month and 482.00 this month for all electric but set at 62 degrees! Just ridiculous! Congrats on the new baby boy!
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing they really didn't want to go back to Minnesota! :-) I know I wouldn't. It's SO cold here too. Poor babies, being sick. Strep is definitely no fun. You know Hey Mikey will most likely be next. Good luck at those appointments. I had to up the dose of my Duloxetine again. The spasms were getting to be too much to deal with again. Hope the neurosurgeon has some ideas.
ReplyDeleteBlessings and hugs,
Betsy
Saint Martin is a lovely island, I'm sure they had a wonderful time.
ReplyDeleteI hope the kids are over their strep throat quickly, poor kids. And their poor parents too, sick kids are never fun.
Good luck with the appointments!
Feel better soon and stay warm!
ReplyDeleteGood for Jen and Andy! My cousin and her husband live in Chicago and always spend a month in Florida this time of year. I hope the pain clinic can help you!
