Dreaming of flowers

Well... flowers and warmer weather for sure!

I started a new puzzle, worked on my crochet projects...one is out for a trial by a little girl and the other needs a bit of an adjustment...so I will work on that.

One of Jen's small stone creations.

Far Guy gets to visit the NEW hospital today for his infusion.  He has heard from the nurses that the infusion rooms are all individual with private bathrooms and big screen tv's...parking is already a nightmare over there.  Good thing I just drop him off and pick him up.

Still cold...our high yesterday was 10F or -12C   our low was -13F or -25C  with a real feel of -30 most of the day yesterday.  We might bust out of the deep freeze on Friday..maybe.

How cold is it?  Squirrels are throwing themselves at the electric fence to warm up:)

  2. Wow! Private bathrooms with big screen TVs! Now that is fancy! Nice! Do they have extra chairs for if you have company with you, too? Anything that makes infusions easier is thumbs up in my book. Is he able to get the type of infusions again that he needs there? I sure hope so.
Jen is so talented! Stay warm. Supposed to be a little bit warmer the next week. Closer to freezing anyways--lol! ;)

    1. Not yet, he is stuck in limbo with the old infusion, the Doctor is still looking into it as is the customer relations person.

  3. Thank you for the squirrel statement!! I started laughing so hard!
    Can I use that one?
I did get out hiking yesterday and since I live in a hilly area I was able to stay out of the wind!

That is a stone creation? I need to know more!

  4. Jen's stone creation is lovely, especially set into that frame. Stay warm, and enjoy those projects. I have a new puzzle started too, but have hit a wall with it. Not enough color variation to make it easy.

  5. You’d think that reading that your cold being colder than my cold would make my cold warm— but it just sinks me deeper. I hope Far Guy can find something on that tv to watch. My problem is finding anything worth watching.

  6. I can not imagine temps like you all have. We are near the 30's this morning but by the weekend, we should be in the 50's. The daffodils will be trying to bloom. Glad that Far Guy will have a private room and a nice TV to watch. Jen is very talented...and so are you!!

  8. I do like all of your Minnesota sayings. :-) We woke up to a surprise skiff of snow this morning and it's still COLD but tomorrow begins a warm up with highs predicted in the 40's for the next week. We'll see. It's Nebraska. The weather changes every two seconds here.
How neat is that? A brand new hospital. I'm glad there will be more privacy. If you have to do something so often, it ought to at least be a bit comfortable.
    Blessings and hugs,
    Betsy

  11. I'm so tired of winter. Yes, I know the cold kills the bugs making summer better, but Oh! My!

  12. I am enjoying your "How cold is it?" questions. It reminds me of things similar to that asked by Johnny Carson. Hopefully FG's infusion experience will be as good as they are promising. Thankful you all are able to get out and about.

  13. The new infusion center rooms sound good, making it a little easier to endure them.
So are these common Minnesota expressions, or are you using your creative wit? Take credit wherever you can.

  16. Here in Georgia I should be seeing signs of Spring soon. Daffodils will be in bloom soon, I'm so excited. It's cold here, but not near as cold as you. Take care and keep warm.
