I picked a project and completed it!! Yeah me!
We always put cash in cute cards for Christmas, last year I made my own cards and envelopes from card stock...this year I just decorated the front of the blank cards that I purchased...and the envelopes came with the cards...sweet... I am all set for Christmas 2025! I can cross this project off my list! In fact I can cross it off the next years list also as I made two years worth of cards!!I wrote some notecards to people that I had been thinking about...they are ready to mail.
Twas a cold day...the real feel temperature was -30 F the whole day. Only Sadie ventured outdoors.
Jen taught us a new card game called "Trash" it is a new fun game!
Far Side
Yikes, that is cold. We are at -9 and the wind chill is minus ... really really cold, does it even matter cold???
ReplyDeleteThose are beautiful cards you made!
Having those cards finished is a big thing for this year. Remember how it took so long to do 2024’s and you barely squeaked it by. I think 2025 will be a good year. That focus word seems to be in control of your life. You picked the right word for ‘25.
ReplyDeleteThese cards are just for cash gifts, I have no idea what 2025 Christmas card is yet!
Deletevery ambitious of you and nice to have that task crossed off...waiting here for snow to start, 2-4 or 5 inches or so...then the big freeze comes...
ReplyDeleteYou are talented and organized! It is cold out there!
ReplyDeleteI love how talented you are and how willing you share your talent with us!!!
ReplyDeleteYour cards are always so pretty! It's nice to check off a finished task too.
ReplyDeleteWow....You are way ahead! You are off to a great start this year. Feels so good doesn't it. We are 22 degrees and it is cold, but I know that this temp is a drop in the bucket for you all....stay warm
ReplyDeleteYour cold is just SO Cold! Here people are getting concerned because it actually got slightly below freezing the last wo nights.
ReplyDeleteOMGosh! You are really ahead of it in the card game! :)
ReplyDeleteStay inside if you can for these next few days. Super cold! Poor Sadie has to go out to do her business. I bet she is quick as can be!
Never heard of that game. Will have to search it out to see. :)
Well done! I recall how much work you put into this year's card - it's good you get a bit of break.
ReplyDeleteIt's miserably cold back at home; I'm very happy to be hear in the warmth. Stay warm!
We have 15 mph winds from the north today and it's headed into the twenties and teens for the night. I was super glad to get inside the house after leaving church!
ReplyDeleteI am jealous you have a Christmas project one for the next two years! My goal has been to complete stuff by Thanksgiving and I almost made it this year. Guess it's about time at my age.
I had to look up how to play Trash. Sounds like fun.
ReplyDeleteLD....we now have your cold. I know that going outside is crazy. We will be hinkered down for quite a few days but it is winter. It is great to get projects done. I am working with my origami birds now creating mobiles.
ReplyDeleteIt's cold here, too. I finally went for a walk but was cold the whole time.
ReplyDeleteWe've done the same with gift cards for our older grands, but I buy the cards. I'm not as talented as you are in the card decorating department.
ReplyDeleteIt was cold here today too but probably not as cold as you. The feels like hovered around -16 to -20 all day and it's supposed to be colder tomorrow and tomorrow night. Dennis's diesel truck definitely doesn't like it this cold. But, it's supposed to be in the 40's during the day by the end of the week so we just need to hang in there.
I've never heard of that game. Jenn is full of fun and new surprises.
Blessings and hugs,
Betsy
soooo cold....sure hope this cold snap ends soon!
ReplyDeleteThis cold weather can be done any time soon! Yeah you, cross that off your list! I love crossing things off of my list! Stay Warm!!!
ReplyDeleteWe used to play Trash. Very fun. I miss those evenings.
