A smile

 This may make you smile.

Someone was a pill when it was time to take photos.  These are our Great Grandchildren growing taller every day.  That is Peach being a pill.

We will be seeing more of these children, by the time you read this we should be Up North for the worst of the Winter weather.   Hopefully we are all settled in by now and Sadie is keeping track of us!

This was the snow that delayed our departure by a day, the roads were crappy for traveling, and we traveled in between storms.

  1. I wondered if you were going to your winter abode. You waited for true winter. Dec. 21.

The picture was made more special by the little Peach.

  2. Hope your travel north went smoothly. I’m sure Sadie will be so happy to have you home again. Seems like there is always one kid not cooperating with photo time.

  7. Some little guys don't enjoy the festivities as we do.

  8. Now is the time for the hardest weather it seems. Good thing you were able to travel in between storms.

  9. So thankful you made it to your winter home safely. Very thankful you got to be at your house longer this year.
Our younger daughter had a picture taken a short few years ago on Mother's Day when the younger son was not wanting his pic taken. She was so exasperated with his uncooperativeness that she went into the house and cried afterwards.
However we have one of her at preschool when she did NOT want her pic made when she was three and she has almost turned away from the camera with teary eyes. Pay-back?!

  11. LD.....It is good that you made to the north. I figured you were hit by a storm. We had a friend that was ice fishing up at Baudette and he had to wait for it to stop snowing before coming home. Big brother in the picture is calmly ignoring what is behavior that he has seen before. I think it makes it a great photo, Little Pill!

  12. For some reason I thought you were staying home this year. I'm glad you're safely up north and able to have Sadie take care of you. That's a great photo. I think we all have at least one photo of each of our kids acting like this. So cute.
    Blessings and hugs,
    Betsy

  14. I wondered when you were headed Up North and wondered if it would be before the holidays. Can't wait to hear about your adventures!
I love those pictures. I think professional child photographers are magic. I could never get a picture of my five (or four or three) where everyone was happy.
