I am busy between household duties; laundry, organizing, not much cooking, selling "stuff" on Facebook and creating the Christmas cards. I ordered the paper for the Christmas letter and ordered a gift for Far Guy and one for myself. Progress.
I didn't have to shovel the snow that fell...about an inch maybe a bit more...my other baby brother came by and blew it off the walk and the patio! The snow came down gently in huge flakes ...Far Guy's sister would have called it a Winter Wonderland.
Christmas Card report only 9 completed today...total 19.

Good luck with the card today. You have a ways to go to get 120.
ReplyDeletei have zero luck on facebook marketplace so kudos to you...no snow here but pretty cold all the same...27
ReplyDeleteGood of your brother to give you a hand. I'm assuming that's the one you do the mowing for in the summer.
ReplyDeleteI'd say you are making good progress on the cards. Have fun with that!
We only had about an inch of snow too, but my husband chose to just drive over it on our driveway - packing it into place for the foreseeable future. LOL
ReplyDeleteYour days sound like mine, minus the crds and selling on Facebook. We only got about 1/2" so Mark just swept the snow away.
ReplyDeleteWe got about 3 inches of snow over night. It wasn't enough to haul the snowblower out for, so I shoveled the front half of the driveway and Dave did the back. It was nice light snow so it only took a few minutes. Everything looks very pretty now
ReplyDeleteThat card count is 9 more than I have done!
ReplyDeleteI may only do a couple this year anyway.
I spent the day driving to an appt and back.
You're getting a lot more done than I am. I'm on day 8 of this "bug" or whatever it is. Definitely not covid according the the test, but miserable all the same.
ReplyDeleteWe haven't had any snow to speak of yet, just a few flurries last weekend and that's fine with me. Enjoy your card making. Progress is progress.
Blessings and hugs,
Betsy
It was fun seeing the little kids. We have no little kids (anymore) and it doesn't look like any soon. :(
ReplyDeleteLeah has good luck selling on Facebook Marketplace. Way better than garage sales, if you ask me. ;) I hope you sell everything.
ReplyDeleteGood luck on the Christmas cards. I used to make that many still about twenty years ago. These days it's only about 50ish. My hats off to you, Connie. :)
I am either feeling busy as or lazy as, some days my motivation is still in bed while my body is up trying to do stuff
ReplyDeleteWe had a busy day, a Zoom meet up in the morning, appointment scheduling for me, and more decorating inside this morning. This afternoon Jake came to chop wood, Tom put out outdoor decorations, and I collected greens and made arrangements for outside and inside. Now we are resting and I am happy that there is still leftover turkey soup for dinner. You remind me that I need to write the Christmas letter.
ReplyDeleteI love watching the kind of snow that comes down gently in big flakes. I hope we get some soon. GM
ReplyDeleteOnly a bit of snow left from last Wednesday’s storm. Today was absolutely gorgeous with clear skies and warmish temperatures.
ReplyDeletehoping you get more cards done today. the snow really does make for a winter wonderland.. so pretty
ReplyDeleteLD...It is a cold, winter shot for sure.
