Men Cooking

We had supper last night with friends.

Garden fresh vegetables from this garden.  That is Buddy near the garden.

And the men cooked.

Dave helping Joel cook on the wok made out of a old concave smooth disk blade from yes a farm implement called a disk.

The food was great and the conversation mighty fine too!

  1. I remember Dad's old disc harrows. I don't recall we ever used the disc for anything more than it's original intended use, but your friends have found a unique way to use the disc. The food looks great too!

  2. That looks like fun. JB doesn't like cooking. He likes his meat REALLY well done!

  4. What a clever homemade wok. I love it when my sons-in-law cook - always tastes better when someone else does the cooking in my opinion. Maybe that because I'm so sick of cooking for a picky eater. LOL

  5. I love the repurposed disc!
Way back in time when we went camping with our young kids, we had an old solid aluminum washing machine lid that we used as a griddle on the grate of a campground fire pit. Fun times.

  9. Well, men usually cook cholesterol loaded food. This looks deliciously healthy.

  11. That would be a fun time. I went to a funeral where they spent all the time praising the guys liking to cook. It really isn't unusual but they thought he was so special but some men refuse to cook.
