The roads were plowed by the time we went to town for Far Guy's weekly infusion. He was happy to see his favorite nurses and from the sounds of it they were happy to see him too!
I ran some errands in town. Lots of people were in town the day after snowy days.
The roads were a combo of wet, slushy, dry or icy. Driver beware...only one car in the ditch.
The huge snow bank was created by snow coming off the steel roof. When it comes down it rumbles as it slides.
I found an old half finished crochet project...cashmere yarn..so I refreshed my old brain on the stitches and it may be finished...someday.

ReplyDeleteI'm glad it has finally stopped snowing. We're supposed to be above freezing tomorrow. It seems our weather heads in your direction so hopefully you'll see a warming trend too.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are dug out at least. The armpit high snowbank in our front yard is now only knee high this morning. Maybe by the end of the weekend it will be only ankle high. LOL

ReplyDeleteI just got through catching up on all your blog posts that I missed! I hope your baby brother is doing well after his surgery. Jen's quilt is amazing. I've seen those Art quilts but I haven't tried that technique. Hers turned out beautiful. Glad you got home safe and sound and had some time before the next storm blew in. Cashmere yarn sounds delightful...can't wait to see your project.

ReplyDeleteI'm so impressed with the snow banks around there. We really didn't have much at all this year. And now we're supposed to have temps in the 80's by early next week.
