My footwear is not the only thing mixed up. Any shoe will do.
I wanted to show you what Spring looks like here and grabbed my slipper, couldn't find the matching slipper so I grabbed one of Far Guys old shoes that he gave Sadie...at least they were opposite feet.
Spring missed the memo that it was time to arrive. I took this photo yesterday about an hour after Spring officially arrived. Spring is bringing us a couple more inches of snow this week. Spring does not care that we are tired of snow. Spring is mixed up.

LOL! You're so right! Spring doesn't bother to make its way up here till May! When spring arrives other people can show flowers budding and blooming--we can only show snowbanks. ;)
ReplyDeletewow that is a lot of snow! Hope you are nice and warm indoors
ReplyDeleteJillxx
Yep, it's MinneSNOWda all right. :-)
ReplyDeleteSigh...it looks much the same here. Will winter never end?
ReplyDeleteWe are to get rain and snow mixed up. But the moisture is needed so I won't complain.
ReplyDeleteMy cousin who lives in NW WI said they had to use snowshoes to repair the lines for their sap to make maple syrup!
They have what looks like a lot of snow!
I think spring got lost and can't her way here. Guess we'll see if our predicted weather today comes in the form of rain, freezing rain, or more snow.
ReplyDeleteYikes! You make me feel very silly for complaining about the wee bits of snow we get here.
ReplyDeleteSending lots of warm spring thoughts your way!
Looks familiar....
ReplyDeleteYup the snow can melt any time now.
I typically don’t expect Spring until June.
ReplyDeleteMore snow? We are getting more snow tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteOh so much snow! Here in Sweden the spring is near even if the nights can be cold. Take care and have happy week!
ReplyDeleteTitti
Obviously in Minnesota Spring is a calendar event and not a weather thing. Wow!
ReplyDeleteHahahaha on the feet. That's me with socks. Any will do. Though I used to have to have them match. Then one night I was freezing and that broke me of them having to match, right quick.
ReplyDeleteHere's hoping spring hits your way soon!
Cheers, Ivy
Spring always likes to take it's good time. Wish I could say that things looked a lot different here....but I can't. Shucks.
ReplyDeleteThat is a lot of snow!! I hope your temperatures start warming up soon.
ReplyDeleteAs far as I know there is no snow in our immediate forecast. Of course, that has been known to change. Tomorrow is supposed to be 51F and that thrills me. The only place snow is left is in shadows where it was plowed into snowbanks.
ReplyDeleteI would NOT want to be in your place. By the time it gets to the end of March, I'm ready for snow to be gone!
Spring definitely doesn't know what she wants this year.
Blessings,
Betsy
Yep spring here looks about the same. I have already shoveled 2-3 inches of new snow tonight and side walk is covered again. The snow is deep!
ReplyDeleteSpring doesn't care what the calendar says. It arrives when it's ready.
ReplyDeleteChuckles! Just remember not to wear that odd footwear when you go out to the shops :)
ReplyDeleteWell, at least the shoes served their purpose, for you to show us your remaining snow. That is going to take a while to melt. We've had years where it would have looked a lot like that where we live in New York State but not this year. We are way behind snowfall.
ReplyDeleteI thought Sadie might have your shoe in her bed! We got to 75 today. Rain tomorrow but warm.
ReplyDeleteThat is quite a lot of snow that is still hanging around. I go out on the deck not so properly dressed in the morning and shoes are only a must if there is snow on the deck. I slip on old tennis shoes and walk on the backs of them rather than getting them over my heels.
ReplyDeleteSnow...a joy in winter, but NOT SPRING!!!
