Happy Valentine's Day!!

Ah the day of love and chocolate. 


 Chocolate gifts from a friend!  


Silly things that jumped into my cart at the grocery store.  We will take bets how long it will survive. 


Sweet things found on the counter in the kitchen. 

Happy Valentines Day to my husband!  He is one lucky guy!

    Ahhh. Nothing special goes on here. We don't do the Super Bowl and we don't do Valentines Day.

    The last sentence made me laugh! He is one lucky guy indeed! That piece of dark chocolate with the nuts in the top photo is calling my name! We don't do much, but that box of goodies looks wonderful. Happy Valentines Day to you and Far Guy.

    Sweet treats! My husband brought me a HUGE houseplant yesterday for Valentine's Day. After nearly 50 years he should have noticed that I do NOT have any houseplants - because I always kill them. I appreciate his intentions, but that poor plant has a short life expectancy.

    The Season of Chocolate is finally at its apex. I am addicted to the sweet stuff and avoid entering stores that have candy displays near the front door until after Easter - the official end of the season that starts in early October.

    Happy Valentines Day to you and Far Guy. We had a very boisterous lunch get together for a Valentines birthday. That was a lot of fun but now the house is blessedly quiet.. There was a box of chocolate left after Christmas and today's the day to open it.
