I am working on the photo album project for our Grands. Some of the photos make me smile.
February 27, 2010 Adam holding Little Elvis.
Miss Miney, Little Elvis and Chance. Noah is in the background. Feb 16, 2010Little Elvis must have turned 13 now as they have had him 13 years.
Here is a photo I took just the other day...his eyes are getting cloudy and his hearing is not great, he sleeps in our room most nights. He has a fluffy dog bed. He has a touchy tummy so the only treats allowed are rice cakes...and he likes them.
Far Side
Grandson is precious...as is Little Elvis.
ReplyDeleteTime indeed, does move on...

Awwww Little Elvis is adorable. 13 yrs pretty much makes him a Senior dog. I hiked with an older dog this weekend who couldn't hear and he was a delight.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a neat project! I love it!
We are having warmer temps so I hope your high is getting above freezing. I could catalog Larry and my entire life together by the dog’s we owned. Phinnie was his last dog. In July he will be 6. If I outlive him, I plan to not own another inside dog. Sometimes what I plan in my head, I find I can’t do because of my heart.
ReplyDeleteLooking at old photos is bittersweet. It reminds us of wonderful memories, but also how fast time flies. Your photo project is such a good idea.
ReplyDeleteAwww, Little Elvis is such a gorgeous dog. It looks like he was great friends with Chance too. Dogs bring so much love into our lives. I honestly don't remember what it was like without Zoey. She's our baby.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
Little Elvis is a sweetheart! Rice cakes aren’t that bad, so I can see why he likes them.
ReplyDeleteLovely memories.
ReplyDeleteGrands are so special, precious memories.
ReplyDeleteLove all your pictures today...such sweet memories.
ReplyDeleteSweet photos, marking the years in grandkids and dogs/grand dogs.
ReplyDeleteWow. That was Adam almost 13 years ago!!! Little Elvis certainly is getting along in years. Definitely a senior by now.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea for the grandkids.
ReplyDeleteLittle Elvis when he was truly little. Such a beautiful dog!
You are working on a fun project! Any time going through pictures is interesting ~ Little Elvis is aging too, I bet he hides from the young pup :)
ReplyDeleteThat breed is such a people dog, wanting to be close at all times. It is a great photo of all the dogs out running the road.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful dog. I'm glad he was been able to always be right there in his family.
ReplyDeleteElvis sounds a lot like me. Ha ha (eyes getting cloudy etc.) Some people said that first your hair turns white and then your eyes turn white. My eye doctor said I could choose from two lenses to replace what they remove. Then I did some research and it stated if you have an autoimmune disease you should not choose one of the two. Great. I cancelled my two surgeries. Our vey.
ReplyDeleteWhat sweet grands and their dogs and yours.
