Yesterday the boxes started arriving.
From Linda in Colorado a beautiful fabric bowl.
From Sam in Arkansas a cute little Christmas Pumpkin.
Earlier we got Ginger Cookies and Stroopwafels from Kay in Kansas.
I am blessed with thoughtful friends! Thank you all!
We are in a Winter Storm...as I write this it is snowing. Hard to tell if it is blowing or not in town. We had freezing drizzle before it snowed.
Far Side
Wonderful gifts!
ReplyDeleteNow you are north of me for the winter, but it is snowing here, too. Stay warm!
Wonderful little gifts! Wow!
ReplyDeleteThe mix we are getting is rather nasty. Cold rain and wintery mix. It will warm up today and then take a polar plunge for the weekend.
Even Charlie has thought twice about lingering outdoors this morning.
How wonderful! You more than anybody I know deserves plenty of gifts at Christmas. You make others so happy with your own gifts, and I'm one. Thank you, dear friend, for all that you do and share with others.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely sweet gifts. That bowl is quite intriguing!
ReplyDeleteLovely gifts!
ReplyDeleteYuck, I do hate it when there is freezing rain before a snowfall. It makes the roads so slick. Hope it stops soon.
The blizzard warnings of the last two days have been lifted, but a light snow is still falling in the swirling wind. Now, it will get cold.
ReplyDeleteThoughtful friends indeed!
ReplyDeleteWe had a miserable day yesterday, mostly rain, then sleet. About an inch of snow overnight.
The bowl can be shaped into any shape you want. And it can be washed in cold water like a sweater. It's a very Forgiving bowl. Love you, Connie!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas
Your gifts are so nice.
ReplyDeleteFun gifts for a deserving friend.
ReplyDeleteWe are hearing about the winter storms sweeping much of the nation. Here on the west coast California got it instead of us.
You deserve all of these gifts and more. We are under a winter storm warning right now and that storm should be here (New York) by tomorrow morning.
ReplyDeleteI saw where that huge storm was coming your way! The storms here went south of us thank goodness. What are Stroopwafels?
ReplyDeleteGifts are fun! Our Maine kids sent us our wreath of fresh greens yesterday and we love it. We don't do a real tree so the smell of the greens are great. You received some nice things.
ReplyDeleteOur lost box of ornaments had your fishing lure in it. I couldn't figure out where it was when we did the first round. It is a winner.
ReplyDeleteI didn't send you this weather. It is nice here . High minus 4 C. Light winds. A skiff of snow. It's a nice winter day.
ReplyDeleteLovely gifts. Not so lovely weather though. I hope it doesn't linger.
ReplyDeleteSam, Stroopwafels are two wafer cookies sandwiched with caramel:)...delicious
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on all the nice gifts you've received. You are blessed.
ReplyDeleteWe are having the same winter storm now...and ours also started with freezing rain. May we all stay safe.
