Far Guy and I went out for lunch after our Defensive Driving Class. We take the class every three years it gets you a 10 % discount on Car Insurance and gives you a refresher/reminder of what to do and not do.
We picked up a few misc things in town, came home and had a nap.

That is a great course to take; I took it once. Sure is a wake call as how you are driving.

ReplyDeleteOh my - a tray on the car window with a burger and root beer from A & W - one of those great memories of childhood. About 10 years ago I was in Michigan with a girlfriend, and her sister-in-law drove us around in her old red Oldsmobile convertible for a couple of fun days. And we stopped at a Dog n Suds still doing the car hop service. It was such fun!
ReplyDeleteWhat memories that photo brings back. We had a drive-in restaurant in my hometown (not an A&W) and it was a real treat for us to go out to eat. Didn't happen often that's for sure.
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of a discount for taking a defensive driving course. We are able to get a discount for safe driving - it increases over five years.

ReplyDeleteI remember those A&W days! Teen burger was always my favourite. Back then the burgers were substantial, not like the thin ones they have now.

ReplyDeleteYour lunch is on a car-tray! I must say I have NEVER seen anything like that here. The only time I have seen one used was on the Happy Days tv show :)
