I used to have those horses too! I hung them on my kitchen wall. I wonder where they went?
Not much going on here, there are supposed to be lots of severe storms so our plans to have a simple supper and stick near home are good ones.
Charlie had a melt down with the fireworks in the town 3 miles away last night. I'm not complaining, as he just whined and then slept on my legs. My mules took off at a gallop when the finally echoed through the valleys. But they have common sense and just ran into the forest.
Sometimes close to home is best. I'm hoping I can navigate my planned day, a local parade and brunch in the morning and evening BBQ and a few fireworks at my SIL's. It's going to be a chilly 4th here.
We will be doing the same, Connie. We thought maybe a ride on the motorcycle but too many folks on the road, perhaps having had a bit too much alcohol, for our comfort. Enjoy your day! ~Andrea xoxo
We took our visitor on a drive through the Wildlife Safari Park and a state park. Lunch at Brad and Mandy's house and dinner at a restaurant. Fireworks are going off like gangbusters here right now and I imagine they'll continue all night like they did last night. Ugh. Blessings, Betsy
Hope you had a good, peaceful and safe holiday. We went down to Ann Arbor and spent it with my aunt. I took the meal down, salad and soup, then we went to a metro park for a walk and watched lots of people floating down the Huron River. Then she and I went for a swim in her community pool. Wouldn't know she's 87 and ill.
