A June update:
She is still in the yard....she did very little shrinking this week. It has been unseasonably cold.
There were rain showers but no flowers yet.
Far Guy has begun woodcarving out in the woodshop/greenhouse on sunny days. He did a prototype of an ornament for Christmas 2022. It is pretty cute:)
Far Side
Wow, a pile of snow like that right now would be hard for me to appreciate right now, especially with May just around the corner. I guess seeing that last spring was so dry there were fire watches in your area... and now it looks like there is at least moisture? Something to sort of be happy about?
ReplyDeleteBrrr though. It was in the 30's here yesterday and I worked in my flower bed with coveralls on!
Beginning to wonder if Spring will ever arrive. Still cold here - in the mid to upper 30's - with rain almost every day. Some flowers have started to pop up; but not many.
ReplyDeleteAmazing how long this darn winter has lasted. Spring and summer better get extended or I'm asking for a refund. :)
ReplyDeleteWe had an actual spring day yesterday! Yay! And there is a possibility for rain the next couple of days. That would be a blessing. I wish my husband had a creative hobby, because I'm terrified that he will retire in a year or so - with nothing to do when he can't golf.
ReplyDeleteJune may be there until June at this rate!
ReplyDeleteWe were doing well but had a couple cold days (and even snow... though nothing like you've gotten so I'll not complain). They say it's on the way back up though. My bulbs all have buds and with just enough warmth and sun, they will soon burst open.
ReplyDeleteIt's been cold here too, in northern-most Indiana. Pooey! It's 43*F as I type...with no sun, which is the worst part in my book. May we all warm up soon, kiddo! ~Andrea xoxo
ReplyDeleteIt will take some warm days to shrink June significantly. Thankfully, all the snow here has melted, but it’s still cool enough for a jacket/sweater most days
ReplyDeleteJune seems to be shrinking a bit.
ReplyDeleteLooks like June might just linger until June. We're off and on sunny, but still quite chilly.
ReplyDeleteWe are still having occasional cold days and hardly any spring days. Everyone is afraid to plant much since it can still get below freezing at night. At least we have not had snow for three or four weeks! I always get excited when you start talking about the next new ornament! You two always make the most creative and happy ornaments!
ReplyDeleteI promise you spring is on its way. We have it here in southwestern Ohio.
ReplyDeleteWhew! At least the snow is not growing.... (Right?) A little rain is welcome at this time. Things are pretty green here in Iowa and growing FAST! Lots of lawn mowers out today... while the sun is shining and before the next rain comes.
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine how tired you are of your visitor June. I guess tomorrow we may not have a frost warning? I am just staying indoors.
ReplyDeleteOh dear, spring is certainly taking her time arriving at your place this year. Hope that snow melts away soon.
ReplyDeleteAww...I love your Christmas ornaments....they are always soooooo special!
ReplyDeleteShe is a big'un!
