Oh man. You would almost think they would count those things going in and count them coming out. I know when I was watching the nurse remove the staples from my arm (in shock because my husband said the doctor told him there were 9 and there were over 30) I asked what the staple count was. She had to wait until she finished and counted them. I just assumed they write that down somewhere? I also had some sewing stitches and actually pulled one out myself that was driving me crazy. I have a small scar from the premature removal and I do not care a lick. Glad the move went well! I think you will all be happier with the new situation. Best wishes to mom and dad.
Oh no - will you be able to have a local doctor take that stitch out? Or will you need to travel back north? I hope your parents are able to settle into their new digs, and relax together right away.
I'm glad your parent's move went well. It's bound to be a big adjustment for them but I'm sure made better since they are together. Shame on whoever left that stitch in your hand! I would have taken it out myself too. You two have a good Easter weekend!
Oh wow....I thought it was next week your parents were moving. I'm so glad that everything went well. oh no....they left a stitch in? Well what next? Happy Easter friend!!!

So glad it all went well yesterday. Next time you see your doctor/nurse you should tell them they need to get their eyes checked! LOL!
ReplyDeleteGlad things went well with your parents. Sorry about the stitch! That would be a bummer.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad the move went well for your folks.
ReplyDeleteOh the stitches. Hmmm. Pull it yourself? Or make an appointment? Such decisions. How is the hand doing otherwise?
Hope you aren't getting nasty weather. Today we are going to have high winds. :(
Oh, no! I'm so sorry.

ReplyDeleteI hope you don’t have to dig a hole to get to the stitch. Soon you’ll be clipping around in that pretty old ride. Happy trails.
ReplyDeleteIt's tough for everybody when you have to put parents in care.
ReplyDeleteWhat?! Oh man, a missed stitch is not peachy or fine. Sorry friend.

ReplyDeleteI pulled it out this morning, finally it feels a bit better, I should charge my insurance company:)
DeleteIt's good to have your parents settled in, a weight off everyone's mind. That stitch is a problem, are you going in again?
ReplyDeleteWishing your Mom and Dad all the best in their new home.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear your parent's move went well. Yuck about the stitch - are you taking it out yourself?
ReplyDeleteNice that you could remove that last stitch yourself and be more comfortable.
ReplyDeleteAll the best to your folks in their new place.

ReplyDeleteThey should have double-checked about the stitches. Glad you were able to take it out yourself without too much trouble.
