Crochet along

I joined yet another crochet along...when I have two unfinished CAL's already.  Oh well winter projects!

This is week one of the new CAL, I am not following the color suggestions...I am making it all different colors.  This will be a large blanket.

I am working on week two, then there is week three and four will be released on Thursday.

So I am behind.  I swear the other ladies must crochet non stop.

Yes I take my crochet projects along in the car, I crochet when Far Guy drives and I crochet while waiting.  I usually take a project when we go to appointments.  Soon this crochet project will be too large to take along.

Far Guy and I are working on lots of Fall Projects.   Keeping busy.

  3. Nothing better than keeping busy. Wish I would get back to crocheting. It was very relaxing.

  4. Fall Projects! I worked on painting some of the little doll house furniture I got yesterday. I am going to use my old wooden boxes to make a 'house' I can use for my tiny characters. The items I did receive were painted pink.
I should make a new quilt for our bed to spruce things up.
    Projects! They are good.

  5. love that crochet pattern! I took a quilting class once where we were making four pillow tops over a two month period I thought I was doing well as I headed into class for week two. By week three I was ready to drop the class. Then I decided if I just did quilt top 1 and 3, I might not keep up, but at least I would be far enough that I could finish two of the pillows on my own. This class was in the good old days of Adult Education classes in the evenings.

  7. That is very pretty. I've always liked having handwork to do in the car if someone else is driving.

  10. I like the colors you are using, it reminds me of the autumn colors against the blue sky (or perhaps mountains in the distance. Very pretty!

    I could never do a CAL - though I have used a pattern once they've finished. :)

  13. I really like your color choices. It looks like the southwest! I have only 4 projects going right now. That's plenty. I always try to have something small like dishcloths or socks for waiting rooms. I'm almost looking forward to being stuck inside all winter.
    Blessings,

  14. Your color choices are beautiful.
I am playing with fabrics to make quilt blocks, but now I need to use any dry time to get outside. Our tulip bulbs have arrived and there is lots of clean up to do before we can plant them.

  21. Lovely blanket! That's exactly why we start new projects...because they get too big to cart along.
