A Beautiful Day

Yesterday we had lunch at Jen's favorite place...my second Margarita this year!  The food was awesome as usual...we sat out on the patio...where we could see Baxter in the car.

It was a beautiful Minnesota day...a bit breezy but we spent most of the day outside.  Jen said she was having a good birthday!

I worked on quality control of the Christmas Ornaments...I have 50 ready to paint.

Baxter was good company for me after Jen and Andy left and Far Guy went in for a nap.   Baxter went home in the late afternoon...I think he was sad to leave as he flushed out a rabbit in the wildgardens.

I am working on getting my craft projects all set to go for a craft retreat soon.  Far Guy encouraged me to go....so I am!

I probably won't take this project...I put it out of reach...as Baxter thinks balls of yarn are lots of fun! This has been my in the car project and my late night TV watching project.

  1. Sounds like it was a fun day. I know my Jack Russell thought everything was a toy unless you told him to leave it be. Charlie just glances at things and only likes bones and squeaky things.

Glad you had a great day and happy that you can go to the retreat!

  3. Going to the craft retreat will be good for you, especially since FG is feeling better. I just returned from a week sewing retreat with my sister. I accomplished a lot and had a good time.

  5. A retreat is always a good idea, to change things up for one thing. I know you'll share it with your fans. :-)

  6. And I thought it was only cats that loved balls of yarn.

  7. I am so glad you watch Baxter regularly! SO fun & you get to send them home lol. My Grand-Bernese never wants to leave my Doggie Daycare, unless we have had a super active day. Your craft retreat sounds like fun. Enjoy!!

  9. Sounds like you had a great day! A craft retreat sounds lovely. I used to go to scrapbooking "crops" but haven't been to one in a few years... they seem not to be a "thing" now. I miss them. Have a great week!
