Flag

Finally took the Valentine flag down and put up the Eagle flag.

Cooked for friends yesterday, we usually get together with them once a month.  Chili and flatbread was on the menu.  They are patient friends and understand when Far Guy is not feeling good enough to meet with them. They are both awesome cooks...but my Chili is pretty good too!

We still have plenty of snow but with nice temperatures this week we may get out the patio table!

  8. I like your eagle flag. We saw one here just yesterday. We are a block off the bay and they soar over our front yard now and then. Taking a break from fishing, i guess. Hope your spring weather continues.

  9. Sounds good, chili and flatbread. I made chili and cornbread last week. Leftover chili for dinner tonight, no cornbread left. Darn.

  11. Yes it is time to bring this flag out. That is a wonderful scene that was designed well. My wife doesn’t like chili so I get it when we eat out.

  12. Spring is on the way! It was warmer here over the weekend too and we were even able to get out for a nice long walk on Saturday. Unfortunately, clouds have returned but the temperatures are still in the 40s, so I’ll take it. Everyone says I make a pretty good chili too. It’s often requested when we have company.
    Blessings,
    Betsy

  17. I am lucky too to have friends that understand when Rich doesn't feel like company. He can just go to bed and everyone is considerate. Love the flag!
