Winter has a real grip on us now.
Here is the snowstick. This is important because the snow at the snowstick will likely double in the next two days. We have one snow event followed by another in our forecast.
Seriously. I laugh…because April 1st is when many snowbirds come back after a long warm winter in the south…it is Minnesota nice to share.
Want a look at June?
Here she is…if the snow gets real bad I may have to change her name to July.
I suspect after this cold spell it will warm up and be summerlike…but we will have to see about that.
Wow! We were two hours south of where we live yesterday, and most of the spring plants have finished blooming already. Wishing you a blessed Easter. Hugs to Chance. xo
ReplyDeleteOh my, we are going to get a chance of snow mix but not much of anything!
ReplyDeleteOMG, we may get rain this weekend but nothing like you. We have some flowers trying to spring out of the ground. Have a blessed Easter.
ReplyDeleteWe drove through pouring rain to see migrating Common Loons on Eastwood Lake in Dayton, Ohio. The loons are coming your way. Usually we see one or two each year. There were at least sixty at the lake.
ReplyDeleteWow! I don't remember what date I chose for the snow to be gone, but it's nowhere near the actual date, obviously. And Sunday is Easter! :-)
ReplyDeleteOoh no, I hope the snow melts slowly so flooding doesn't become a problem.
ReplyDeleteGlad you still have your sense of humour!! We will get a taste of it this weekend in Edmonton, where they have had snow on the ground every day but one, since the first of November. And the temperatures are not forecast to get above freezing while we are there.
ReplyDeleteWarmth will be ever so welcome!
ReplyDeleteI am curious what will happen this weekend - I am happy I predicted my snow stick guess out there a ways! Maybe some warm weather, a little bit of rain and I might be in the running :) :)
ReplyDeleteSnowstick guessing must be pretty off this year--LOL! We had some more last night and a storm predicted for later today through tomorrow. Snowy spring, eh? LOL! ;)
ReplyDeleteThe winter that wouldn't quit for a lot of places!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like the snowstick winner will be at the end of April! I hope for you that the snow does not last until May. Here is Missouri we have snow forecast for Easter but I don't think it will stick. This has sure been a looong winter!
ReplyDeleteWhat a dirty April fools trick!
ReplyDeleteI know how ya feel. We got 6 in of snow over night. It's cold too....minus 21 C tonight.
ReplyDeleteI still have hope for my snow stick date, April 17th, and I bet you hope it is gone by then too!
ReplyDeleteFrom the looks of the snow I should be saying Merry Christmas instead of Happy Easter.
ReplyDeleteWell, won't those snowbirds be surprised when they arrive home!
