Twinkling Like Stars

I finally got some time to play with a new set of pens from Jen and Andy.  I was waiting to get my desk cleared off to start this project!

Twinkling like stars

They are glitter pens…Copic Spica Glitter Pens that are Twinkling Like Stars!

Cards

I stamped some snowmen cards and played away.  I love the bright colors that sparkle.

cards on my desk

In fact I got a little carried away with my stamping…so my work box is full again.  I cut up a bunch of heavy watercolor paper and stamped away!  Yes… I have a small box of other glittery “stuff”  you can never have too much glitter.

We had a beautiful day here in Minnesota yesterday it was 29F…it felt awsome and warm!!  It gave us hope that winter will end someday.

Disclaimer: I have not been paid for or accepted any Copic markers in exchange for this review…but if they want to send me some to try out I would welcome them!

  8. Oh, what fun you are having! I wrote them down...I'm pretty sure I need them and also the water color paper and what kind of stamp pads do you use? I have some large stamps like your snowman and all I ever see are little stamp pads. Any recommendations?

    1. Bring the stamp pad to your stamp and rub it around:) My stamps usually come from Hobby Lobby and a few are from Stampin Up and of course Ben Franklin:)

  11. Just got a sparkly card from you but maybe you used something else on the butterfly card? Those look like fun pens! A little sparkle was just what I needed on such a spring-like day yesterday. (Funny how getting to 30 degrees felt like spring.) Beautiful today, too--but then a storm and frigid weather is on the way for tomorrow. Life in the North Country. ;)

  12. We reached plus 7 C today (44F) and we thought it felt almost Spring-ish! Now I can hear rain pelting down again and the temperature is going down as night sets in.

  15. The art teachers curse is glitter. Everyone wants to use glitter and no one is mature enough to use it in a functional way. Looking at it is fun and your cards are wonderful. There is so much more control of it when it is the pen form. I remember when people use to blow plaster with glitter in it so the ceiling would sparkle at night. You cards are a fun project.
