My own calendar

I made my own calendar again this year.  I have photos of some people and their age on their birthdate.  There are many companies out there that will make a calendar for you, the software they have is easy you just upload your photos and then add the text you want. I use Shutterfly and think they are awesome printers.

I had a hard time picking photos…there were more than just a few that I really liked.

This is my January photo.  Chance, Miney and Little Elvis who recently turned eight years old…eight can you believe it?  This photo looks like it was taken in a studio..it was our driveway after a snow and we were playing ball.

I can appreciate my photos everytime I glance at the calendar.

A cold update: I rested and had a really long nap yesterday, it is a good thing we have food in the freezer ready to warm up as neither of us felt like cooking.  So far no body aches…it must just be a common cold.

  3. I'm glad the cold doesn't seem to be turning in to anything worse than a common cold.

  4. I make my husband a calendar every year, I use Walmart and they do a decent job. Also made a couple of books and a puzzle.

  6. That's a great idea! I would like to make some for the kids with their baby pictures and give it to them for Christmas. I think they would get a kick out that and so would their children! LOL! Your January photo is gorgeous!

  8. That is a wonderful photo.
I have never made calendars, but my sister used to make them, each month featuring one of our extended family groups, using photos she took or we sent to her. She gave them to all of us as Christmas gifts. She stopped when our mother died. I just found her last one when I was cleaning out a drawer.

  9. Phenomenal picture! The expressions on their faces sort of look like, "Really - - you will give me steak and all I have to do is sit here for a few seconds and look interested?"
Glad your schedule and freezer are aiding in your recovery. Hitting the age we are - - - and then adding any other medical conditions - - - really do allow a cold to hit us very, very hard!

  16. Calendars are a great idea to display your photos. What beautiful looking dogs and a really nice picture of them !!! I have heard of other people having good results with Shutterfly, and Walmart does a good job, too.
(The photos are nice enough to frame when the calendar year is done.)

Hope you both feel better soon.
