I missed two Batman characters and a little Batgirl. I was still in town.
Luckily another niece came by with her “five.”
A lumberjill, a witch, a clown, a lumberjill and a lion.
We had to have a few photos. Then their Dad went and got the little witches hat from the vehicle.
This witch smiles with her eyes.
We had some fun with the clown mask. The girls all thought that Far Guy looked good with hair.
So all in all we had just 8 goblins. Can you say leftover candy? Uffda.
I wish I could take pictures of my little Trick or Treaters but they aren't related so I don't. I had 4....a big bunny rabbit (these kids are tall nowadays...I think she was taller than me but then I'm 5'2" or less these days so that doesn't take much). I had a princess, I think a Pokemon character and a Ninja. I too have leftover candy but I make sure it's stuff I like just in case! LOL! I also gave some to the mailman in a little bag. Your Trick or Treaters were darling and yes, she does smile with her eyes. My daughter has never liked clowns since she read It by Stephen King? I don't read that stuff but I'd say that's not a good look on Far Guy! LOL! The grands called; one before Trick or treating and the other 2 after.....they were 'wound up'. My daughter doesn't let them eat it all...they put a lot away. I guess I was a bad mom as I let them eat what they wanted and get it over with. But she has a good idea called The Switch Witch where they can exchange some of their candy for cash. I think that's a great way of discouraging too much sugar plus Grayson is allergic to nuts so they have to be careful and they have had some expensive dental work so that's enough to make a parent sit up and take notice! Did you watch any good Halloween movies? Good not gory! LOL!
ReplyDeleteThey all look so cute in their costumes. Not as many kids this year as it was too cold for most of the little ones.
ReplyDeleteCute! We haven't had any trick-or-treating in our neighborhood for many years :(
ReplyDeleteI didn't have to go hand out candy at McFamily's because it was too cold for them to bring Liam around so one of them had to stay home anyways--plus I wasn't feeling that well. I hope they saved me some chocolate candy--LOL! ;)
ReplyDeleteLucky you! We only had ZERO! No one came. The grandchild who still dresses up stayed in Parachute and went with all her little friends....made me sad. But I do understand...
ReplyDeleteOur neighbourhood is also a dead zone for trick or treaters, so we don't bother buying any candy and leave the outside lights off and the gate closed.
ReplyDeleteFun when the relies come. We had about thirty little guys...90% preschool.
ReplyDeleteDidn't have any trick-or-treaters. Didn't see any. Didn't buy candy. Our street is too dark and no one comes. But...I did have some treats for GN. Nice Hair for FG. I dressed up as a tired grandmother. ;-)
ReplyDeleteAdorable kids!
ReplyDeleteWell, at least you enjoyed the ones you had!
ReplyDeleteWe had none, although I had hoped for a few. Oh, well, the pumpkins were lit by the front door and it looked cool even if they were not shared.
I didn't have any, either. I can count on one hand all the trick or treaters I've had over the years here. At least I bought candy that I like! :-)
ReplyDeleteThat is one creepy clown mask :-o.
ReplyDeleteFun shots!
