Hiya! It is me Chance.
One day Far Side said “He looks a little scruffy and I cannot clip his toe nails do you want to do it?” Far Guy said “no” so an appointment was made. I knew something was up when Far Side was up really early, got dressed in real clothes instead of her jammies and walked me in the rain all around the yard before putting me in the car…
Before
After
Either way I think I am still handsome! I have less hair to fill up with burrs and prickly seeds. Far Side says my fluffy tail was a leaf collector.
I am feeling pretty good, I still need some help getting into the vehicle, and sometimes I am a little SLOW going up the steps.
A deer snorted at me yesterday…I chased it about 20 feet and then decided it could run way faster than me. A bear was seen in the neighborhood..a big bear…I have not seen it. Jody and one of my favorite people in the whole world saw it coming out of the corn field and into our woods. Far Side said “Well that is scary now we have to watch for a bear again.”
Aww.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter stopped by a couple days ago and trimmed Henry's toe nails. He was glad to see her but he seems to like us pretty well, too. I know he is getting more attention here since Tom and I are retired. Our daughter is still teaching.
ReplyDeleteChance you look so handsome. Glad you are feeling good. That is scary about the bear. We have to secure our trash can due to bears on our little mountain.
ReplyDeleteChance, I think you are more handsome than ever after your hair cut. Please don't go chasing that bear, he might hurt you and that would make me sad.
ReplyDeleteWow, Chance, you do look way handsome with your new coat. And your nails are done, a pedicure for dogs. Without the polish, though. :-)
ReplyDeleteChance, you are always handsome even when Far Side thinks you are scruffy!
ReplyDeleteHe is a handsome young man!
ReplyDeleteHey Chance, thanks for checking in. We always wonder how you are doing and what you are up to. You are a fine looking dog.
ReplyDeleteHappy you are feeling pretty well Chance - you look wonderful after your "clean up". I heard about that bear - hmm I would like to see it.
ReplyDeleteLookin' good, Chance! Better let that bear have the right-of-way, he could get grumpy 😡
ReplyDeleteChance, you are indeed handsome, and you look much younger all spiffed up.
ReplyDeleteBear are scary! Mom and I watch for them here...others have seen them but we haven't. Boomer
ReplyDeleteLooking good, Chance! Still the most handsome dog in Minnesota. ;)
ReplyDeleteChance - - You look great - - - like an instant diet plan!!! You look slim and trim and shiny now.
ReplyDeleteYou look wonderful, Chance! But watch out for that bear. (We had a wolf sighting last weekend, but it must have moved on.)
ReplyDeleteBe brave or even bluff by growling. It can work though whenever we're hiking my boss grabs me puts a chain on me and drags me off the trail. That is whenever he sees another dog coming our way. Then ever worse he waves the other people through giving them and their dog priority. He even almost sits on me. And just because he is such a woose and leave it up to me to defend us!
ReplyDeleteYour friend Princess Lily...
Wow, Chance, I'm glad you have NOT seen the bear. You should not herd a bear. Stick to the deer. And yes, you sure do look handsome!
ReplyDeleteI liked your fluffy tail, but I'm sure it's easier to keep clean all nicely trimmed like that. I had to pull burrs out of Thea's tail yesterday, she was not happy with me!
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a good loud bark so you can let Far Side know if you sight the bear.
Chance, you're looking quite handsome now!
ReplyDeleteChance is looking very handsome. Yikes, a bear??
ReplyDeleteKeep far away from any bears, Chance. Maybe stay away from snorting deer too.
ReplyDeleteChance, you look really handsome before and after but be careful around those woods. We have critters here too and Mom can't see them or smell them or hear them but Annie and I can and we have to constantly watch out for her....it's a full time job! You be careful!......Licks....Nitty and Annie
ReplyDeleteOh Chance is just a handsome devil- it must be dog grooming day because my husband spent two hours with Rocky last night just combing and combing- til he had enough hair to make a rug out of. Whereupon, Rocky immediately rolled in the dirt and declared himself the winner. LOL!
